STANLEYFATMAX Automatic Wire Stripper, Strips 10-22 AWG wire with Spring loaded handles, Comfortable Grip annd Adjustable wire stop & Aviation Snips – Straight Cut (2-14-563)

This is the third similar wire stripper I’ve bought. Excellent design and well-built. Strips all common flex sizes, including the outer covering (for the outer PVC coating on flex, will just about manage 1.5mm2 3 core). I sometimes use 2.5mm2 3 core flex and that’s too big to go in for the outer covering but of course the individual conductors are stripped easily with this. Importantly, it will also strip the sleeve on twin and earth (and individual conductors, of course).The cutter and crimping tool are ok for occasional use but I have dedicated cutters and crimping tool which are easier to use and the ratcheted crimping tool gives more consistent results.As a wire stripper this is hard to beat.

I am an ‘old school electrician’ knife and pliers to strip cable. What have I been missing ? The Stanley Fatmax is an amazing addition to my tool kit. So easy to use and accurate.

Better quality than most of the junk sold as wire strippers.

Works great, can't complain. If you're unsure on getting one of these or the more manual wire strippers, do yourself a favor, go for this one. It's so so much more convenient. Have used it quite a lot, mostly on thin wires, and it still works brilliantly.I've not run into any limits yet on wire gauge, but I generally don't have to strip thick wires for my use case.

My car has been dry stored for 14 years and hubby is finally getting around to fixing it, to find mice had chewed a lot, including wires. My husbands first thought was to cleanse my car with fire. (Not an insurance job, as it currently has none :) and he begged and pleaded for me to get him this tool ( i manage the money) as it would make his job easier/quicker than the old school way. I agreed and got it for him. On arrival he was excited to see the strippers and actually got to work right away. I have never seen him work so hard and quick. All in all. Happy wife = Happy husband

Habia probrado otros pelacables y la verdad es que este producto de Stanley esta muy bien fabricado y diseñado, es capaz de pelar los cables mas finos perfectamente y su graduacion es perfecta asi como el cortacables que viene incorporado. Se agarra bien a la mano y los materiales con los que ha sido fabricado son perfecto para su funcion. No puedo objectar nada malo de un producto bien hecho. Me ha sorprendido gratamente en comparacion a otros pelacables que he tenido de otras empresas.

Un'ottima spelafili, facilissima da usare non c'è bisogno di nessuna regolazione per quanto riguarda il diametro dei cavi elettrici da spelare, fa tutto da sola; ho spelato con estrema facilità 4 cavetti elettrici di diametro: 0.95 mm, 1.17 mm, 3 mm, 6.65 mm, il taglio è netto e preciso, allego una foto.

Oczekiwałem wysokiej jakości narzędzia od tak uznanej firmy. Niestety funkcja ściągania izolacji nie działa konsekwentnie i często muszę kilka razy próbować zdjąć izolację ze sztywnych przewodów, ale nie udaje mi się ich przeciąć czysto.
