Great to have several around the house
I bought a 4-pack, keep several around the house/garage/shed/in the car tool kit, etc. They work well, easy to use, mine came with instructions on how to magnetize & demagnetize a screw, nail, screwdriver blade, etc. I had one for about 15 years but lost it when I went to a pick & pull car parts place. I searched for it for 45 minutes, hard to let it go! I had to get a few more just in case. The good thing about this item is that you can magnetize many items...screws, screwdriver blades, nails, etc. If not, you'd have to buy a magnetized blade type for each screwdriver = $$. I bought a magnetized philips head tip screwdriver for $7 when I lost my last magnetizer but went on line and bought 4 more of these as a Plan B.

Absolute Junk
Purchased these 6 weeks ago because they looked exactly like the dependable ones Ive had for over 10 years. I dont remember where I purchased my original pair or what the brand name is but because these look identical I mistakenly assumed these were just as good. I just tried to use the new ones for the first time today and all 4 of them are so weak they wont even stick to each other much less magnetize another object. Im usually too lazy to write an Amazon review but this horrible product deserves a couple minutes of my time.

I also bought a couple of differently designed magnetizers but I still like these because they will stick to the inside lid ...
I tried to find these at my local Sears Division 9 but they no longer stock them. They did say they could order one for me for about $10. I found these on Amazon and ordered a pack to go along with four screwdriver sets I gave out as Christmas presents. None of the gift recipients had ever seen a magnetizer and they proceeded to magnetize any piece of metal that would fit through the little hole in the center. I also bought a couple of differently designed magnetizers but I still like these because they will stick to the inside lid of a toolbox or on the door of a metal tool cabinet and they work forever to magnetize or de-magnetize screwdrivers with a blade width and shaft diameter of about 5/16 inch or less.CAUTION NOTE: JUST IN CASE --- A magnetized screwdriver is a great tool if you are using it to hold screws so you can work in an area where you can't hold the screws with your fingers. However, a magnetized screwdriver CAN BE DEADLY if you are working in the confines of an electrical fixture box in which the power has not been shutoff. The same applies to working on any electric appliance or device that is plugged in and powered up. The magnetic tip of the blade can cause the driver shaft to be attracted to a "hot" electrical contact or, it can pull the blade against the rim of the electrical box while the tip is touching a screw on the electrical receptacle/switch you are trying to "carefully" remove without pulling the fuse of turning off the circuit breaker. So, make darned sure to de-magnetize any screwdriver you are going to use with any electrical work, regardless of whether or not the circuit is hot or cold. You can always quickly magnetize the blade after you have finished that work. Yes, this is the voice of experience speaking...

Real simple means.
I put one in each front pocket of pants, not jeans or chino fabric, the material seems to ward off evil spirits. May work with other fabrics, haven't tried yet.

They work!
Not very much to say about these. They do what they suppose to do and that’s why I have one in my home’s tool box, one in my portable one and one at work. The other one is a spare one in case one gets lost because they won’t stop working.
