Smith Lowdown XL 2 Everyday Lifestyle Sunglasses

This is my fifth pair... I wear these daily and beat them up; I’m a farmer. They last about a year of sweaty grimy torture on my face, crammed in my pockets, or tossed in a bag. I’ve accidentally run over a pair with my truck (I had to wear them a little crooked until I was due for my new pair!). The lenses hold up with hardly any scratches... oh, and they REALLY make the world more beautiful. No kidding, these lenses make vision better.

Honestly it’s not worth the $179 price point I paid. The glasses are not that scratch resistant. 2 deeper scratches already after dropping them on the floor. Decided to go with this pair because of the fit and size. They fit great but fails to match up to Oakley is better in terms of quality. They feel light and of low quality. There was also eye glare. Look and fit was good. Maybe they’ll get it right on the Lowdown XL 3?

These sunglasses look great and the clarity through the lenses is excellent. They are also really lightweight and comfortable on the face. However, as someone used to fly fishing glasses with more coverage on the sides, expect to get a lot of glare in your periphery. The upper right corners of both lenses reflect a purplish glow back in my eyes, particularly on snowy days.For a daily driver or going on a date on a sunny day, these will look really cool. But if you are doing any other activity, I'd go with something else.

Great glasses for us big heads. I always have trouble finding glasses that fit my wide face, but these do the job. The construction materials are great and they don’t slip off your nose because of a rubber like pad they have.

Really big fit for an average size face. I’ll order the regular size next time because there is an inner lens glare from to much peripheral space . Lens are great in the bright sun and bright reflective cloudy days. Not so good in the heavy overcast days. The polarization is good when looking at the sky and ocean.

One of my favorite pairs of sunglasses I have ever owned. I live in the Sunshine City and these polarized lenses battle the bright rats on my commute over the Tampa Bay each way into the sun. Also minimizes the glare off the water. I’m considering getting another pair in a different color I like these so much. Smith delivered with a great pair of shades here. Also love the XL size for my big noggin’.

Always love these but this order seems off. They are very easily scratched. Arrived with scratches as well. Might not be actual genuine but still a great look and style

Ottimi occhiali , belli grandi, più voluminosi dei classici wayfarer a cui si ispirano.Per il resto stanno bene , si indossano bene e non scivolano sul naso come altri occhiali .Unica pecca: in base alla foto avevo capito montassero le lenti gray green chromapop polarizzate , invece sono semplicemente polarizzate e nere , problema relativo , comunque buone lenti.

This is the first pair of sunglasses I have owned that actually fit on my larger than average melon. Good lenses too.
