Packed with power, gets the job done! Worth the $
We heat with wood and have a gas-fired central furnace for back-up, we get some drafts in the living room, looking to spread more of the heat output, to save on energy costs, decided to invest in this machine, it has been doing a great job over the past couple of months, this little fan is packed with power !It spins faster than other fans we've had, and it circulates the air without creating drafts.I've spent 3 times as much on fans that don't work nearly as well in the past, it’s also amazingly quiet. Solid build, i’m sure we will get many more years of use out of this. I I would totally purchase this again if need be. Has already paid for itself!Overall extremely happy with this purchase!

This product rocks!
Such a simple design and it works so well. No batteries, no cord - I just placed one on either side of my wood burning stove fireplace insert and it carried the heat into the adjoining room. Runs mostly silent but does emit a slight hum when the fan blades are really cranking. The hotter the fire, the faster it works. Best purchase I've made all winter.

Nice fan
It moves the heat but it is a little smaller then I thought it would be. It is very quiet.

Stove fan
This stove fans works great I gotta for my living room to put on top of my stove to move the heat around and it does the job very easy to use I like that the heat is what move it’s highly recommended for anyone with a wood stove

Noisey and inefficient
The media could not be loaded. This is an excellent idea.... But sadly it doesn't do anything... It WORKS, it moves as it gets hot, but you can stand literally 2 feet away and not feel anything being blown your way ... Kinda pointless really - which sucks because it's an excellent idea. It's also loud!! Maybe ours is defective, but it's super quiet once it's really going and the stove is over 300°, but until then when it's spinning slower it squeaks, squawks, tinks and tangs rhythmically.... I will be returning it.

doesn't work as advertized
I purchased this for a friend thinking that it would help circulate the air around her woodstove She told me to send it back because it was too small and not powerful enough to make any difference in the movement of air in the room where the wood stove is located. the fan is a good idea, but just not powerful enough to do the job

Silent fan
This fan is silent and circulates warm air around the stove into the room. I use this fan both on a space heater in a cabin but also on my Buddy Heater while ice fishing to circulate the warm air in my pop-up fishing shelter. Check out youtube for how-to videos to mount the fan to your Buddy Heater. I used a 6" stainless steel drain grate and a peg board peg to make a shelf to set the fan on (or make a pot of coffee).

Works maybe!
While the fan blade spin when on wood stove top it does NOT produce any air circulation. The fan only spins when in vertical heat such as wood stove top. However in front of fireplace it does NOT spin the fan. Great idea but bad implementation
