Toddy Cold Brew System - Paper Filter Bags (50 Pack), natural, 11.5"" x 13"" paper filter bag, THMPF50

I made a mistake of purchasing another filter bag that was cheaper. It was made out of plastic. No way to recycle this in our compost pile. I did not realize this until I tested it. Back to paper. Better tasting brew. No mud in the bottom of the pot. Pay attention if you compost your grounds.

I have a very expensive coffee maker, but I much prefer the Toddy and its durable filters. Great taste, no acidity and can be used with milk, water, liqueurs -either hot or cold. A chef in NOLA recommended this and it’s the best! I use one pound coarse ground Starbucks Verona coffee beans. I use more water (always spring water) for one pound and it lasts 1-2 weeks. I also let it sit for 24 hours to get a strong brew. So easy!There’s a bit of a learning curve at first…make sure to use the plug or you’ll have coffee everywhere. I’ve done this before…Best coffee ever! I’m never using another coffee maker again!

So nice! The coffee drains faster and easy clean up. When you get your coffee ready to go, just fold the top over and clip it. I fold the top over a little when filling because the bag is so tall. I will buy these again.

I bought these to use with the gelli plate to create something that can be put onto a collage, or plexiglass or glass. I haven’t tried all surfaces, but it seems to work. I don’t know if they are archival or if they last.

Do you NEED these filters? NO….but they absolutely make your life easier. We’ve used these filters since they first came out. They work great….fabulous coffee and zero mess.

A different product I used would tear very easily and I had to use two filters at a time. This one is much better quality and doesn’t tear.
