The Family Lawyer (BookShots) Audio CD – Unabridged, October 3, 2017

Loved this story and it kept my interest while trying to solve the mystery!

This book was an easy read and just as great as his other books.

James Patterson is one of the best authors I’ve ever read. His books are so engaging that I have to make sure I have time to read the whole thing in one sitting because I’m never able to put one down.

Not the typical Patterson book. This one has three short stories. The first two stories were interesting and Intriguing. The third? Not so much.

The family lawyer and the good sister were good length, twists you’d like and concrete endings. The middle story was long and drawn out. Overall wish I read these separately and not under one cover.

I bought this book for as a book club selection. It was in better condition than described and was an excellent price

3 stories. 1st one was great, 2nd one was terrible, and the 3rd was somewhere in between. Quick read, overall worth it.

This book made me realise that the key to a good book is characters who are likeable. In the first story, that applied only to the female lawyer and her role wasn't big enough to count. I would be surprised if anyone can find anything to like about the disfunctional family on whom the story is centred. The second story had a flawed heroine, a cop who always solved her cases, even at the cost of her mental wellbeing. She risked her life and sometimes, that of her colleagues and I would like to read more stories based around her. And finally, a tale of two sisters and an errant husband, with a twist that was unfortunately hinted at at the beginning of the story. A book for a rainy, boring afternoon, perhaps.

Hadn't realised when I ordered this book that it was three short stories. I would probably not have purchased if I had realised, but have to say The Family Lawyer is intriguing with a twist I didn't see coming. Nice to be surprised by the story.

Was expecting a book about a family lawyer but it was 3 short stories. Only one was about a family lawyer. The stories were ok on there own merit but not the book I thought it was going to be. I won't recommend this book.

Started off good and then went rushed silly endings like his book shots. Going off JP when it’s not his regular character books such as Alex Cross, Harriett Blue etc
