Basque Norte Marinade (48oz)

Excellent for Mari sting meats and great flavor added to soups and gravy

This is the best marinade I've ever tried with boneless, skinless chicken breasts. I marinade the chicken for as long as overnight. Then when I'm cooking the breasts on the grill I baste them periodically and at least every time I turn them. This really keeps them from drying out without adding a ton of flavor or a sweet bbq coating. The breasts stay moist and do not get dried out - even on the outside - which is easy to do. It also adds very few calories and/or carbs.

This marinade is delicious. It has a strong flavor and you can over-marinate, but if you know what you're doing this is fantastic.Let me preface by saying I rarely marinate with butcher bought steaks. However, I often receive frozen, mail order steaks which never live up to the quality that you find in a butcher shop. I bought this to add some flavor and that's exactly what it does.With that being said, I would not be worried using this particular marinade on a good steak.The way I use it on the mail order steaks- I start by marinating the steak with Basque Norte for 2 hours. Then when I'm ready to cook, I do a small rinse of the steak with cold water (I never do this with steaks, but this marinade is strong). I then pat the steak dry, season it with a little garlic salt, Montreal Steak seasoning, and pepper. The taste is savory and especially good with Tri-tip. I've been told that it's great with pork,poultry and fish too, but haven't tried that yet.I'm not sure how to explain the flavor other than it being a soy sauce based marinade, but if you enjoy soy sauce based marinades, then you might just love this. It also seems low carb friendly, being 1 carb per 1 tbsp serving.I would recommend this to any meat lover looking for a flavor packed marinade to spice up their meals, especially if you cook Tri-tip or mail order steaks that might not have the same quality of flavor that you get from the butcher.

We marinated beef short ribs and grilled them. Excellent flavor.

My son is overseas and asked if I would order this for him. Say's it's a great marinade. Wish it came in smaller bottles.

Basque Norte Marinade if you want the best steak then use this marinade. Put your steaks in a bag and pour some of this marinade in. Then about every 30 minutes flip it over I do this for 2 hohoursi do not need to say anymore 😋

My parents turned us on to this a few years back and it's been our #1 marinade since. Perfect for steaks & hamburgers.

This product tastes like vinegar! When I contacted the seller through Amazon with my complaint, the seller said they only take returns if the product has not been opened. How would I know that it tasted bad unless I opened it? They do not stand behind their product. It cost me $26.48 for this marinade -- $12.98 for the product plus $13.50 shipping & handling -- so I paid all that money for nothing! I've ordered another brand of Carne Asada marinade in the past from Amazon that was wonderful (Scott's brand), but I can no longer find it. Save your money and do not buy this!!!
