Fitted my Janome sewing machine perfectly.
Two halogen LED bulbs suitable for sewing, they fitted my Janome sewing machine perfectly, and give off a brilliant bright white light, so much better than the original filament bulb. You get two bulbs for your money. The bulbs are SBC (Small Bayonet Cap) and not the screw in type, there are no markings on the bulb, so I suggest you keep the empty box which shows it’s a B15D 35W Halogen LED Bulb, 6000K Cool White Light, 220-240V 4W, for reference. Each sewing machine is different, so you will need to refer to you own machine’s instruction book to check how you change your bulb. I had to remove the front cover from mine, which was held on by two screws, hidden under two plastic caps. The bulb was easy enough to swap, just push it into the socket gently and twist to release. Reverse the process with the new bulb.As I’ve said, the brilliant white light that this replacement bulb gives off is so much better than the original filament type, I’d wish I’d changed it before now, and I might just change my cross-stitch machines bulb now with the other bulb.I’m happy to thoroughly recommend.

Very bright little bulb for the wattage.
These seem well made. I bought to replace sewing machine bulb and it’s almost too bright! But now at least I can sew in the dark on a foggy night! Great value. Would recommend.

Quick delivery and work
I bought these little bulbs for a very small Tiffany style lamp. They arrived very quickly and worked. The light is very bright white which helps project a nice pattern from my lamp onto the ceiling which I didn't get with my previous little golfball bulb. It doesn't seem to cast as much light as the previous bulb though but the lamp is only for decoration so that's fine.

Will they fit and work?
Mine were to go in an ornamental Tiffany style lamp and they fitted and are just right, excellent.

Worthwhile upgrade
An ideal replacement for a 15W pygmy bulb.I needed a new bulb for our NewHome sewing machine and I wanted something that produced a strong light (we're getting old) and didn't get hot in use. These LEDs meet that need admirably and although initally more expensive should last the lifetime of the machine. The light is much brighter, more uniform and at only 4W generates very little heat.A very minor issue; these LED bulbs have a much smaller envelope so fitting them is a little fiddly and the actual light output is somwwhat recessed within the holder. However, they are such a big improvement over the tungsten bulb that they make a very good buy.

Makes sewing easier due to visibility
So glad decided to replace old sewing machine light bulb, visibility so much better since changing bulb. Even for a DIY novice, it was an easy process to replace bulb.

Works on my Eureka Sanitaire upright vacuum
I own a Eureka Sanitaire upright vacuum that has a light bulb in the front that has a very short life span. It's a 120v, 15w incandescent bulb, and I suspect most of the issue is the vibration of the vacuum shakes the bulb filament to pieces over time. So I took a chance on this LED bulb, even though most of the info here states it's good for sewing machines. The result: Eureka! it works, and it is significantly brighter than the incandescent bulb. My hope is that since the LED bulb is entirely solid state, the vibration of the vacuum won't be a problem and that it will have a much longer life.
