can it connect to more than one garmin account?

Definitely yes. My first one could not, but that was a glitch. I got a new one and it works fine. Be aware that you would need a grown up account to have your kids on it. It work from like 13 years because Garmin states they are not allowed to store personal information of kids under 13. If only Google would know that 😉
