So nice to have the history of Revere Beach in a well written book

The book is great I just wish there were more pictures.

Bought for my Dad for Christmas, as he is from Revere - he LOVED it!

Hard to know how to review this. I had expected lots of wonderful photos of a bygone era; I mean, old amusement parks can be incredibly picturesque! But this book has very few photos, and the ones there are, are very small. The author has done copious research and there are tons of footnotes and a long bibliography. If you want a definitive history of Wonderland, this is a valuable book. It just wasn't what I was looking for. I gave four stars to be nice and to give the author the benefit of the doubt, because I read almost none of it.
