Paper Bags A Plus
These paper bags are perfect for holding the raw kitchen waste I have to dispose of in my green trash bin. They are sturdy and hold veggie waste just fine. As long as you do not pour liquid in them they will not tear or rip. As for a "green" bag for other things they are perfect. Excellent if you are looking for an alternative to plastic.

Tough/strong
I bought these bags to use for microwave caramel corn, and they didn't disappoint. They are tough and strong enough to handle the shaking of the bags to distribute the caramel over the popcorn. I will buy again when needed.

Purchased to ripen fruit
I still have a hard time believing I paid for paper bags, but it is what it is. They are like any paper bag I used to bag items from the grocery stores – not thin, which is nice. They are serving my purpose. However, I am removing one star because I received 24. It’s not difficult to count out 25 paper bags and given these are about 50 cents each, before taxes, I feel somewhat slighted.
