I think it looks fairly nice quality for a costume piece. It is fairly thin. I ordered size small. I wear a 34a size bra so I don’t quite “fill out” the top and it’s almost too wide for my shoulders, so it’s a little bit baggier than I would like, but it’s not so bad that I’ll return it. I think a size smaller would have worked better if available, though. Keep in mind, there is no boning, so it will not act as a corset.

Very good accent piece for your wardrobe. Versatile, can be warn with any look. Nicely made, rich color, perfect fit.

**UPDATE** I LOVE IT! While it’s not a boned corset it does give off a (comfortable) corset look. Not tight, it fits over my undershirt/blouse. I’m 5’8” 145 lbs and I ordered a medium. I even tightened it after putting it on.I was trying to order an affordable corset top with boning but this isn’t a corset at all. It’s a thick smooth material (don’t let the textured look in the photo fool you, it’s a floral print - printed onto a smooth material so it’s not a canvas or linen feel). I was looking for close to authentic but on a dime for renaissance… so the fabric isn’t canvass, the pattern is printed on silky material, there’s no corset boning. It’s basically a thick tank top with ties in the front. However, it is my fault for not fully reading the description, so I do take the blame because I was shopping in a hurry and basing my purchase off of the photo. I ordered a Medium and it seems true to size, though someone else stated they ran small, I disagree. You can also give it a little more room by loosening the front. It’s still cute, I’ll try to see if it works out for me and maybe add a photo later, if it does.

I am 260lbs, 5'6", 40DD. This size is fine for a casual renaissance fair costume I'm making. A little on the tight side, but I will be wearing shapewear under everything.If you're looking for a garment with strong support? This ain't it. It's perfectly fine as a top layer / accessory, but it is just a cloth vest. If you want something that does NOT require a bra, or something to accommodate a larger belly, find something with "stainless steel boning", like a corset or a set of stays.As for this product: it is acceptable for what I personally need it to do. No more, no less.

Wore this to the Ren Faire and was very happy with it. The laces are a bit fiddly, because I felt like it took me a while to get them to tie so there weren’t weird gaps across my chest while they laced tighter in other areas. Honestly though, sizing up probably would’ve helped in that respect.

I like this top- once you have it on it’s great. I basically had to take the laces out in order to get into it and lace it back up. Once you do that it’s great, but just plan on a few extra minutes when putting it on 😅

I got this with the intention of wearing with a binder, and it fit exactly how I wanted and expected it to. I didn’t want my curves to stand out, and this vest isn’t meant for accentuating curves in the first place. So it worked out well, but I don’t think I’ll be keeping a $40 vest (again, not a corset) like this for many occasions lol.

I wanted a tight fit, so the shirt under and some small cleavage would show.. it was all under shirt.. tthis puece did not hold the under shirt in place ... i ordered a size smaller then usual, should have ordered 2 sizes smaller then usual.
