VOLTRON
Avevo visto da piccolo la serie originale e mi incuriosiva questa nuova versione. Devo ancora vederla però dal trailer mi ispirava e perciò l'ho comprata (ad un buon prezzo).

Pretty Satisfying
I haven't watched all of this yet, but so far I like it a lot and its a similar reboot to the Masters and Thundercats reboots. The comedy aspect is enjoyable but overplayed a bit I think (Coran is a real knucklehead in this one). I do like that they finally matched up appropriate color uniforms to the color of the Lions - that make's more aesthetic sense to me. It's interesting that Keith has been demoted to second rank and Shiro is the Black Lion pilot - he's probably the most interesting of the group so far because of his mechanical arm and his unremembered past as some type of gladiator once he was captured. I like how they tweeked the story line of the original a bit but not to a point that irritates fans of the original Go-Lion and Voltron. I like the original look of Zarkon compared to the new version - but he is probably more menacing in this one - looking forward to the appearance of Lotor. I'm glad this was finally put on disk and not just available on Netflix - I'm cool with original Netflix shows as long as they become available on disk at a later point - for awhile I was afraid that this was not going to be the case with this particular show. Someone convince DreamWorks to take up Thundercats 2011 and give it a proper finish - and the Masters of the Universe reboot so we can have a season or two against the Horde. That would be cool - in the meantime I hope this collection either ends satisfyingly or continues to other seasons - no more of this teaser (The Horde) or irritating cliffhanger (Pumyra betrays Lion-O). Overall I am glad that the toons of my youth are popular enough to be given a comeback of any type - how about a Thundarr reboot?

Loved!!!! Need More!!
When my 8-year-old saw the trailer for Voltron on a DVD she begged me to get it. When I discovered that seasons 1 & 2 on DVD I was excited but didn't expect too much. When we watched the first episode we were hooked. Binge watched the whole thing and loved every minute of it. The characters are so much and engaging, the animation is great!I honestly need the rest of the seasons! I need to know what happens next! I'm honestly hopeful that Netflix and Dreamworks don't wait too long to put more on DVD and hopefully add some extras, too. I'm willing to bet they'll be hard pressed to keep up with the demand.
