So easy to use!
I love this timer. It’s really easy to set up and easy to access the plugs, which is not true on some timers. It seems solidly built, and I like the ease of switching from timed to on, the switch, for that is really accessible and easy to use.

Works perfectly.
We like the shape, more modern looking than our other boxy ones.

Cords facing down
I like the option for 2 plugs. Especially useful is that the cords are facing down . Easy to set time. I do not notice the ticking sound that are with a lot of tomers

Be sure you set your start time to the correct time of day, AM or PM!
I knocked off a star purely because these mechanical timers are a little too wide to tuck behind some kinds of furniture. I have to pull out my shelves a good bit to have room to clear the timer. But the two grounded plugs that face downward, not outward, help save space that large grounded plugs tend to take. The timer is perfect to plug in behind a sofa with a lamp on either side, especially if the sofa back is angled outward like so many are to accommodate an electrical plug and still look flushed up against the wall. The timer is easy to set. You pull up all the grey pins, then push down only the pins for the times when you want whatever you've plugged into the timer to be "on." You can either do it all in one big block, as I did to turn on my living room lights in the morning and off at night when we're no longer in there, or you can turn the lights on for a few hours, off a few hours, then back on again...in whatever half-hour increments you desire.Just be careful when turning the dial to the current time. I thought one of my timers (I bought two) was broken because it didn't come on when the one across the room did. But I'd set the current time to 3 a.m., not 3 p.m. Well, DUH!

Programming is not intuitive
I expect a simple timer like this to allow me to specify "time on" and "time off". Instead, this one wants me to tell it "how long to delay turning on from right now" and "how long to stay on" and "repeat or not". So if it happens to be "on" time right now, I cannot set the timer because it needs a delay.Be warned that if you give this seller a bad review, they will email you every single day wanting the review deleted. Luckily their spam lands in my spam folder and I never see it.

Once you figure it out, it works great.
Probably the strangest thing about this is how to set it. Most people are used to being able to find a Clock on their timers. This is simply how many hours do you want this to operate and when do you want to start. So if I plug this in at noon, I put the delay at seven hours, it will turn on At 7pm…then To run for 12 hours. It will turn off at 7am. I use the random setting. And check it periodically just to make sure everything’s working fine.
