Worth the price. I have 2 children and I have tried everything to save my table. At the same time I did not want to use a table cloth & plastic since I love the design my table has on top. This plastic helps me & other visitors admire the design of my table. Plastic is very sturdy and thick which tells me it will definitely last.

Bought this to protect our stone-face coffee table. We bought the stone face coffee table for the cool looking. However, the surface is not flat for putting up cups. Also, it gets chipped easily from accidentally bumps, and hurt people's knee.I came across this from Amazon's suggestion, and it suits what we need. I can still see the nice stone surface, but the clear cover made it more usable.It's a bit longer than what we need, but I left the sides run down to protect people's knee. I might cut it to fit later if I need the look, but so far so good.It is rolled in nice wrap when it first comes. The manufacturer is very nice to include a direction listing more than enough ways to make it flat, and this attention to details is what I like about this family based manufacturer, very thoughtful. It has a little bit of odor when it first came, which is also mentioned on that little piece of direction. And it went away 2 days after unwrapped, nothing to worry about.

I’m really on the fence about this plastic table cover. I purchased it to protect a table for game playing and jigsaw puzzles however you can see how very rippled this plastic is even after having laid it flat on the table for 15 hours and using a hair dryer on it.Yes, the plastic smell is very strong but I’m sure that smell will dissipate after a day or two. But those ripples, that’s another story. I need this plastic to lay perfectly flat in order to play games and construct jigsaw puzzles. I purchased the 32x32 which only comes in the 1.0 thickness so note that this size is not as thick as the product shown in the product image ( which I did not realize - I thought it was going to be that thick since it’s the photo used for the size I purchased).I’ll give the plastic a few more days to “relax” and if it does I’ll edit my two star review. But if it does not, then I’ll send it back because the photo is misleading and this will not work for my intended purpose.

I have 4 young children and a brand new table so I bought this. I love that it doesn't hang down like a table cloth. It doesn't fit exactly but overhangs the table about a quarter inch or so on every side which is no big deal to me, I think I actually appreciate this fact as it further protects but doesn't get in the way. I did not have a problem with it appearing "bumpy" as others have stated as I took the advice of another reviewer and placed a towel on the plastic and ironed the towel. I became impatient and never did the entire thing, just the big bumps. That trick worked well, thank you to whoever posted that. It does appear shiny which I don't like but for now I prefer shiny to a destroyed table. Super easy to wipe down, I've only had this for a few months but there have been spills of tomato sauces, milk, and curries and there is not a stain to be seen. This is exactly what I was looking for. I wanted a plastic clear cover to put on top of my night stand. It is hard to get the bubbles off. However I did not follow the heating instructions, so that might help. I liked it with the bubbles it almost gives like a pattern effect to the table. I really wanted for the good not to get scratcjed and wanted to see the color on the top of the night stand, but did not wanted to get a glass top. Thus, this item worked perfectly for me. Puting it on as shown in the pic took me 10 min.

Overall this is a very nice table protector, that is great to have. It is thin and easy to roll onto the table. It helps make the table not slippery and it makes it so much easier to clean the table. I put it over a tablecloth to make it look even better. But it is an odd shape, it is just too wide for my table, by a tiny bit, and it hangs over the edge awkwardly. Also the way it is packaged, rolled up so tight, it made the inner edge lumpy and not flat. It also left it curled, and it took days of flatting with heavy objects on the edge to get it flat, and it still has a little curl. Overall, I like having it on my work table.

This is absolutely perfect. My husband made us a kitchen island that just happened to be exactly the same size as this plastic, so no cutting necessary. The island is, well... my husband did a fine job, but he's not a furniture maker and there are lots of places where flour, sugar, etc. could get stuck if I were to try to mix ingredients directly on it. This allowed me an easily cleaned surface where I could kneed dough, chop ingredients (on a cutting board, not directly on the plastic), and just do what I need to do without worrying about getting bugs because I couldn't get sugar out of the wood grain or worrying about contaminates from meat that I couldn't get out of the wood. I'm completely thrilled with this purchase!

This is for the 1.5 mil thickness. I was expecting this to be much thinner than the 2 mil I already have. It is nice and thick and I can barely tell the difference. It totally protects my breakfast table when I'm making crafts. It mostly cleans up very easily, but it does have a couple stains I can't get out from paint markers. This 1.5 mil is the same durability as the 2 mil. I don't cut on it, but it does scratch easily. There's a wear mark under where my craft mats sit, and it has not been there all that long. I would choose this over the 2 mil thickness next time. It does need to lay out flat for several days to flatten out, specially if you need to cut it to fit. Rolling it backwards helps. I was able to cut it to fit my oval table, but it took a pair of heavy duty scissors. I've used a straight edge and utility knife to easily cut the 2 mil. I will order this 1.5 mil next time. It did not have any smell to it when it arrived.
