Simple install. Keeps garbage out of the end of the axle tubes.
I replaced the hubs so added these to prevent debris / water from getting into the end of the axle tubes past the plastic disc shields. Critical part? No. Made me feel better though.I test fit before flying in place with RTV. My grease Zerts were easily accessible…some folks reported having to swap to 45* angled fittings…not necessary for me. Remove the plastic disc shields from the axle before installing the axle…

PRETTY GOOD SO FAR
Tight fit on heavy duty axles aftermarket axles, almost gave up on making them fit. I had to pull the snap ring and seperate the rubber bushing from the aluminum housing. Then reasyemble it on the shaft. But if you did a stock sise axle change out i bet they fit on nice and easy . It seems like a great product and Im glad i was able to get them to fit. I would recommend these

Fit is a little loose .
I recieved these in a very timely manner and I was impressed with them initially because of their build quality . They seem to have been well thought out in design as well. The housings are of aluminum construction that is rubberized, then has an insert that is rubber and I am thinking aluminum as well, that is snap ringed in place. Before doing anything, I test fitted the housing into the axle tube on my 1972 Jeep CJ5,and it was loose. Not just a little but a lot . I thought these were made for Dana 30 axles ? Whats up with this? Anyways, I really want to keep crud out of my axle tubes so I wrapped a round of 3M friction tape around it and when it was tight in the tube, installed it. One thing for certian, there is little to no room between the axle and the insert once installed, so make damn sure you have that driven all the way in before installing your axle and spindle. Thank you for a pretty cool product that will keep the cruddies at bay and my inner seals happier for a long time .

You won’t waste your time on these. Easy install. Took me about 10-15 minutes tops.
There is nothing to dislike or give a con statement about. These fit my Jeep Wrangler YJ (1994)Just be aware if you have the stock Dana 30 to this model Jeep. Or this model in general you more then likely have a two piece axel shaft on the passenger side with the vacuum shift disconnect which puts you in and out of 2 and 4 wheel drive. I converted to a one piece which is stronger, safer, more torque handle, and obviously eliminates your shift disconnect assembly. Anyway. These tube seals are wonderful. They work to their full potential. And they act as a second set of seals that not only keep oil in if the first seals bust. But they have a grease seal ( you add) that keeps all foreign crud out by catching it or just blocking it. Anyway. Worth your money. :)

Good seals, quality control may be an issue.
The seals will work well, the install was straight forward. I followed instructions for install and let the gasket material setup for twenty four hours before I installed the wheels and tires back on the Jeep. The seals might have received 4 or 5 stars, except the grease fitting on one of the seals was installed crooked. This makes it impossible to grease this side axle tube seal with a traditional grease gun. I was able to use a needle grease fitting to grease this side. I will install another grease fitting next tire rotation/oil change. This will resolve this issue.

Fit well but had to buy other grease fittings
These tube seals should solve the problem of contamination entering the front axle tube on my Jeep Rubicon. Installation was fairly easy only because I already had both front axles removed. The supplied grease fittings are straight and are not usable as they are because when the flange is fully installed, there is no longer enough room to insert the grease coupler onto the grease fitting. To enable re-greasing of the seals, I had to replace the straight fittings with 45-degree angled fittings. Sounds simple enough, right? Well, these are an M-8 thread. I went to O'Reilly's, Autozone, Advanced Auto and Lowes searching for M-8 angled grease fittings and none of these fine stores carry those. So, I ordered some from Amazon. As an after-thought, I could have tapped the holes out to match the fittings I already had but I was done by that point. Overall, I think that these tube seals are a winner and will contribute to longer life of the internal axle shaft seals.

package was incomplete and what was there is USED
Package came as expected. It is an auto part. I got to the job in July, but I pre-ordered the parts I needed in May. When I opened the TEN Axel tube seal box, only one of the two was there, and that one was USED.Lost 50 bucks on that deal. Check you boxes as they arrive so your not in this situation and can not return a used part.

Good
Quality seems good and fitment was fairly good in my Dana30, they could have been a slightly bigger for a more snug in the axle tube.

Look at the seals before buying.
At this point in time I will take off 1 star for the red anodizing. Its very dull in color and not the best coating. I havent fitted the axle tube seals so I cant comment on the quality or longectivity of this product. The black outer section (as per the item picture) seems to be a rubber thats fused to the aluminum body. Once this rubber seal is damaged or perishes I cant see there being a replacement seal on the market. I may be wrong so do your research first before buying. If it is replaceable then the old one would have to be cut and somehow stripped without damaging the underlying aluminum. Maybe the competitors design with the three "O" rings as seals is a better option. I will return to update this review once item is fitted and tested.

Would by them again
Easy to install, fit no problem. Was wary of them when I read reviews but took the chance and worked out great. Would buy them again.

Good product but not for me.
Looks like a good product and built nice. But doesn't fit a dana 30 from a cj7.Add didnt say it did. But figured how different could they be from a yj or tj. Turns out a lot knuckles on the cj are closer to the axle housing making the axle a tighter fit and leaving no room for these.Ended up giving them to my uncle for his tj and he seems happy with them.
