Thieves and NAZIs beware: this luggage tag is the best I have ever come across...
These luggage tags are awesome. You will have a 0% chance of someone accidentally grabbing your bag at baggage claim. I recently bought a higher end Under Armour backpack that just happens to have a neon lime green interior, so these even look like they were meant to be used with my bag. I often travel to remote areas of the world for my job, so good luggage tags are important. They are so nice, in fact, that I plan on surprising my grouchy Scottish father with some at Christmas, since he accompanies me on my expeditions from time to time.Pros:-LARGE and easy to see. Much larger and thicker than the photos make them look. If someone at baggage claim grabs your bag, you can be like, "Hey, bro. That's clearly my bag. See the neon green Shacke Tag? Boom, thought so." "You're welcome, freshly stolen crystal skull, you will make it to the American museum of my choosing, where you belong."-The rubber material seems to be pretty much indestructible. Good for the airport, or for fighting Nazis at archaeological sites.-Your personal information can only be seen if someone takes the time to remove the connector ring and open the flap. Now nobody will find out that you stole your nickname from the family dog.-Price: These cost less than many "high end" luggage tags that I've had that were A) boring, and B) fell apart within a year of purchase. This is good, since the salary for a 1940's archaeology professor is pretty crappy, regardless of tenure.Cons:-The screw together wire ring seems like it could come undone, so I just used a large key ring to attach it to my bag for a more secure connection. Not a big deal at all, though. Probably me just being paranoid, as I usually travel with pounds of raw diamonds and other precious gems in my bags after my many adventures through booby trapped catacombs.I'm getting up there in years, but I definitely have at least one more expedition scheduled (2019 - check it out!). I'm glad I will have these luggage tags to help me protect my artifacts upon returning home. Would definitely buy again.

Luggage Tags that hold up to travel
I purchased a second set of these because I liked the first so much. I have used them for several years and they are still holding up and stay on the bag. I prefer to not move mine as I think they will stay attached better than if I move them from bag to bag. I just attach them and leave them on the bag so I wanted a couple more. They make it easy to identify my bag on the luggage carousel too.

Best of the three tags we compared
My wife and I just ordered these Shacke luggage tags and two others, Travelambo Genuine Leather and Stylish Microfiber Leather. All three sets had Free Returns, so were able to compare them and only keep the ones we liked the best. These Shacke tags turned out to be the ones we kept. At first we did not like them because they are made of thick rubber rather than leather. However, the Shacke tags best met our goal to buy very durable tags that were distinctive and would identify our bags at a distance on airport luggage carousels and other luggage lineups at buses and cruise ships. We ordered yellow tags to provide a bright contrast with our black luggage. The Shacke tags were the brightest shade of yellow and they are built like a tank, with metal grommets where the wire loop goes through the main tag and the fold out ID cover. The wire loop holds the ID cover firmly in place but also provides enough leeway to allow someone to look under the cover to see our ID info without unscrewing the wire loop. I screwed the wire loop connectors tightly and also covered them with 3M electrical tape to protect them from loosening. Loctite thread lock compound could also be used as an alternative to electrical tape.Another reviewer noted the Shacke tags are a bit heavy. They do weigh 1.5 oz. per tag, compared to about 1 oz. per tag for the other tags we considered. We decided that .5 oz. per tag is a reasonable weight increase for a well-built tag with a secure metal loop.

Looking For Luggage Tags? You Can Stop Your Search, You Found The Only Ones You'll Need
** I received this product in exchange for my opinion of it **Well, to spoil the fun, these are the best luggage tags I have ever used, or seen. Simply, they are everything you would 'think' would be in a luggage tag and nothing extra. Here is a breakdown:1. The outside is a thick rubber material that is not flexible enough to be ripped easy or punctured. It is also not the shiny type of rubber that could easily get stains. This is a different rubber than you would find on a typical tag at the big discount department stores.2. The eyelet that lets the loop-tag through is metal. This prevents a rip because the tag gets caught on something when the luggage is being thrown around.3. The loop itself (that goes around the handle) is made of braided metal. Extremely sturdy and it connects by screw. The screwing mechanism is fairly long (about 6-7 turns) and is gritty. Meaning it will be hard to 'undo' after being tossed around. Moreover, the metal of the 'screw' seems like very good metal. It absolutely is not soft or seem prone to 'malleability'. This means that with frequent attachment/detachment, the screw shouldn't strip out. There is, of course, an information sheet inside the tag and is completely covered by the flap. In order to read the information, you just have to pull the flap up. However, the information is always concealed when not looking underneath.I cannot find a negative about this luggage tag. You likely won't find better, and if you do, not in this price range, and not at a typical store. In comparison, the tags I was going to buy at a department store was around 6-11$, only came with one, and had a plastic loop, among other items that weren't as good in quality as the Shacke.Did you also read the description that you receive two tags, not one? Not much to think about here, one of the best out there.

I had hoped the address would be better hidden so they don't really do what I wanted ...
These really are big and clumpy. I had hoped the address would be better hidden so they dont' really do what I wanted as it is so easy to open the flap to read the address. After one return flight they are dirty and scuffed and don't wipe clean. I know airport handling is tough on cases, bags and tags but these already look months old when they have only been used once. Going to start searching for something better again. Now binned - they were filthy after just a few trips, even the one on my hand luggage! The address is easily accessible because of the design - it is so very easy to lift up the cover enough to see underneath to the address. My biggest concern is they are huge and heavy, very clumpy. All in all quite ugly

Tough (not so little) buggers! Reckon they'll outlast our suitcases.
