The fabric was 6" short on width, which totals 4.5 sq ft less than advertised. Lame. One out of the four bulbs was dead on arrival. Parts are lightweight and feel cheap. Fabric is poorly sewn and feels very cheap. For a super low budget photo setup, this will work. You get what you pay for, and you're not paying for much with this set. Would not recommend this set if you can afford anything better. Not expecting these items to hold up to repeated use--I plan to set them up once and leave them where they are.Also note that "8.5x10" title refers to the frame. The backdrop is smaller than that and dimensions are listed further down. Still, I got less than was shown in the dimensions.Edit: Added two stars because the seller promptly helped me with the the defective bulb problem.

This kit is probably usable for beginners but actually might make a more difficult workflow. The advertisement looks amazing but once you unbox all the offerings things start to look different. The light stands are wobbly and short, maxed out they barely get about 5 feet with the light on. the lights are very dim not nearly enough to illuminate your subject unless your room was very dark. The backdrop stand is usable but aside from being about 5 feet wide, the backdrops are so wrinkly that you’d need a very good editor to key out the green screen. Great idea, low quality product. Get a clean paper backdrop and some cheap stands with a single moonlight and you’ll have better results.

We ordered this product in late October, as a back up and to be used for an upcoming podcast and video series. Well, the series just launched here in mid February. So while this had been in its original shipping box, sitting in our studio since the end of October… We got around to opening the box and setting it all up today. Yes, it’s been four months since we ordered, but the thing has not even come out of the box yet. One of the box lights has a defective fixture. The bulb works, and it’s the actual fixture itself. I’m trying to reach the company for customer service, or to replace just the internal mechanism for that light, but I can’t reach anybody, and it’s exceeded the 30 day period when I could have normally returned it. To say I’m disappointed is an understatement.

For the price I was amazed at the complete kit with how many lights ce with, and how large the backdrop was. Some of the clips feel a little cheap, but that's to be expected for the price and most definitely gets the job done well.

The media could not be loaded.  I've been looking for a complete setup for a photography lighting with backdrops. I will use them for multiple purposes so I wanted a white green and black backdrop in the package which this comes with.Here i am showing the white backdrop quickly set up in my backyard to take photos of Hummingbirds. The softbox isn't bright enough for outdoors but I may put a flash in there.The stand and clamps are nicely made and hold up in the wind. The white material feels like a cotton sheet and was wrinkled but could be ironed.I'll use this to take photos of my dogs and indoor portraits.It comes with a zippered bag too!Overall highly recommended!!

First off - the customer service at Yesker is non existent. I reached out to them several times as one of the bulbs arrived dead. I preferred not to send the whole kit back. I received no response - not even an automated one.Finally was able to resolve the issue through Amazon directly thankfully.The rest of the kit stands and adjusts well. No complaints. The backdrops smoothed out pretty easily in the dryer.
