Nice size and easy to assemble.
Seriously, you slide it out of the box, unfold and clip the sides in place, put the perches in and, voila, instant bird cage. I have two small, slightly bigger than budgies, parakeets. They have a larger cage for day to day, but I wanted something that they could go outside in. It needed to be lightweight so I can move it onto and off a cart, and large enough, well, to be honest that they won't be right at the door, when I go to close them in. :-) But, also so they've got a little room to stretch their wings when they go for some fresh air. This seems perfect -still trying to convince them to go in, so I won't know how well it works in use until they realize there's millet in there. The downside of the lightweight/easy assembly is that is seems rather flimsy. It has the guillotine doors, so I used c-clips (the ones for bird toys) to hold the one door open and the rest firmly shut. Aside from that, the only problem I would have with this cage is that, for my birds, I use paper on top of the grate rather than having them standing directly on the grate when they're checking out the floor. It would be easier to change the paper if the grate could be slid out, but I don't expect I'll ever be changing the paper while the birds are in this cage so no big.

Great for ground birds, able to remove the bottom grate
We really love this cage. It’s attractive and has a nice large surface area, which works perfectly for our Diamond Dove since they tend to walk more than they fly. That was a big reason we chose this one, and it’s been a great fit for her needs. Another big plus is that we were able to remove the bottom grate pretty easily. Diamond Doves need a flat surface since they don’t walk well on bars, so this was important for us and worked out great. It was a bit of a project removing the grate but with a pair of pliers and a couple zip ties it works well. The only downside is that the front door is a bit difficult to open. I have to pull fairly hard, and it can shake the cage, which makes our bird a little nervous. I may try to adjust it slightly, but it’s something to be aware of. Overall, we’re very happy with it and it’s been a great setup for our bird.

Great finch flight cage
I bought this for my single finch after he lost his mate. I wanted him to get used to the cage before I got him a new mate. He loves this cage and flies all over in it. I put the back perch up as high as he could still sit on it and far back in the cage. Then I put the front perch about midway down and as far at the front as possible. This gives him a lot of flight room. He is using all that new space and working on learning some new tricks. I kind of agonized over this cage as it wasn't "cute" and also I thought from the way it looked I'd really have a lot more seeds and feathers scattered around. I did order a seed skirt, but really, in the ten days that I had the cage up without the skirt, I had LESS seeds and feathers outside the cage than from my other cage! The slide out tray is great and is so easy to pull out and clean. I think the grate being above the solid floor is what makes for less mess outside the cage. I thought I'd hate the wire grate floor, but surprisingly, my finch utilizes this floor much more than he did the solid one in his old cage. Could it be it is more like a perch to him? I have a water dish I set down for him to bathe in and I enjoy being able to pull out the tray without having to reach in and move his water and disturb him. And lastly the doors! There are three small push up doors in the front, one of which is within a larger push up door which can be propped open. There is also a spring loaded door, small, on one side. The provided dishes just slip inside the push up doors and are so easy to move in and out and easy to slip something in to the dish. I use them mainly for treats as I moved his old feed and water dishes into the new cage so he wouldn't be anymore stressed than necessary. He loves eating treats from his new dishes and I love the fact it is so easy to slip things in and out of the cage! Very glad I bought this.

Worth the price, in my opinion.
Short List: Pros: -The price. I've seen smaller cages for more expensive! - Simple to set up. No tools required, at least not in my experience. - Quite sturdy for being a folding cage. - Space. Though this isn't going to satisfy a bird's need to fly around, there is enough space for them to hop from perch to perch and climb about. - Easy to clean. Cons: -A little easy to bend, sadly. Not surprising, and not enough to be of concern, but still notable. - Space: Both a pro and a con; there is enough for your bird's comfort for the night or to sit and rest/play, but not enough to flat-out fly. Detailed review: The cage is simple, but sturdy. It does the job if you're looking to have 1-2 small birds (which I was, works perfectly for my two Parakeets). There is room for their toys, extra perch, and a swing. They have room to hop around, and don't seem to be anxious or cramped. Granted, my roommate and I let the birds have free-range of the room during the day since there is no room for them to fly in this cage, really. No paint chipping, no rusting, though the cage wire was somewhat easy to bend (not that this caused any need for concern. It wasn't enough for the birds to squeeze out or get stuck, and it's not weak enough for them to bend themselves). Granted, the bending may be from my heavy-handed roommate. The dishes feel/look flimsy, but hold up very well. Despite this, I'm expecting to need to replace them sooner rather than later. The two perches are nice, the birds love them. One of them was a little warped, curving inward somewhat, but the birds like it that way. The removable tray in the bottom is VERY handy when it comes to cleaning! It's easy to remove, and easy to clean. All in all, I'd say this is worth the money as a starter cage for a few small birds. Please note that I've only tried this with my two parakeets, so I wouldn't know how it works for other species. I'd say to be wary if you're getting it for something tiny, though, as the bars CAN bend... Or on the other end of the spectrum, obviously don't get this for a larger/stronger bird. That one should be obvious though.

Worth the price!!! Easy to assemble!!!
Very spacious for my two parakeets. Love the big slide door on the front for better access and for them to freely come in and out as they please also love that it has 5 access doors the four on the front and the side door as well….. I did remove the dowel perches as they are no good to bird/parrot foot health….just added all my own perches with no problem at all Very spacious for many toys and perches I am buying my own metal bowls soon …..as plastic bowls are no good but with good cleaning they shall do good for a bit…. Very Easy to assemble quick and easy took me maybe 5 mins to set the cage up…. a little longer to put all my toys and such in….. Easy to remove and cleanable drawer Will probably purchase another in the future the price is amazing for the size and such….where I bought a very small cage for $90 at petsmart the price for this size cage is amazing Only slight downside is that it’s very flimsy but with a few zip ties it’s kept together quite well…

Bird mansion: Spacious and nice appearance but had some concerns
Pros: * Spacious * Light and nice appearance * Lots of space for toys and fun * Easy to assemble (and disassemble) Drawbacks: * The food dishes are completely inappropriate for small birds, such as canaries, and perhaps any kind of bird. I'm not even sure they could find a way to perch and reach into them! Also the edge is a little sharp. (Ok, I can buy new food dishes, but it's nice if these things are sorted out from the beginning) * The bars bend quite easily. * I was concerned about how well it would hold together if it were moved (as I usually move the birds outside during the day and put them inside at night). It didn't seem very sturdy. Now this was just my impression and I didn't actually see it break or bend, I am just saying that it was a concern. On the other hand, I understand that the manufacturer might have made it out of a lighter/thinner material so it is not too heavy. Suggestions for improvement: * I understand that human beings like to see perches going lengthwise, but I think birds prefer perches going the other way (width-wise?) because they like to fly across the cage. Obviously I can install my own perches too, just a thought. I am sure fewer people would buy it if the perches went that way however. * A cage this size COULD have 4 dishes installed... just saying. (Of course I can add more too, but just saying) Anyway, it didn't work out for me, but it might very well work out for someone else.

This is a great cage! It was easy to assemble
This is a great cage! It was easy to assemble, fits together perfectly and has lots of room for my parakeets to fly. The tray is easy to slide out for cleaning, the seed and water cups are generously sized and easily accessed from outside the cage. I put the two long perches (included This is a great cage!! It was simple to assemble, is well made and fits together perfectly. There is plenty of room for my parakeets to fly, they even fly in circles in the middle of the cage. The seed and water cups are generously sized and easily accessed from outside the cage. The bottom tray slides out easily for cleaning. I put the two included long perches in the bottom third of the cage and added two 14 inch perches triangulated in the back corners of . the top third of the cage, giving the birds plenty of open space to fly. The double opening front door is great since you can put the pet carriers inside the cage and release new birds without fear of escape or injury. I added two new birds to my original two after getting this cage, and there is still plenty of room.

Awesome Flight Cage
Ever wonder why cage manufacturers make bird cages high instead of wide????? I do! The only thing that I see that flies up and down is a helicopter! I was helping my mom getting everything she need in order to house a new canary. I insisted that she get a flight cage for her bird instead so that her canary can have exercise and lots of room for movement. This cage does not disappoint! It is absolutely huge for the bird and the little guy does love it - he is all over the place in the cage getting good exercise and wing use, which are important for a healthy bird! I saw some reviews where people complained about the strength of the cage all I can say is that the cage is perfect for a canary, finch, budgie types of birds.... a larger and strong bird like a medium to large parrot could definitely bend the bars, but it isn't a parrot cage. I am assuming too if you dropped something heavy on the cage the bars would bend, but then again, it is only made to house a small bird!!!! I would love to see Prevue come out with a stand for this cage because not all people have the table top space for this cage. I would recommend this cage for anyone who is looking at getting a small bird! Good job Prevue!!!!!!!!

Very spacious, excellent cage
I was able to assemble this cage in 2 minutes max. The cage is very spacious and there are 3 smaller doors with one big door to add things to the cage. There is also a side door. My budgie is very happy in his new cage and I can't wait to add toys and more perches. Overall great cage and happy I bought it.
