Shell is made of soft 9.5 ounce sherpa fleece with nylon accents on the collar and left chest pocket. Great to wear alone or as a liner under a shell or vest.

OK, NOT GREAT, Woolrich is usually great
Ok for it's purpose. This Berber fleece is very porous, a little on the baggy side. It would make a very thick layer garment. Do not look to this for any wind protection. NOT worth $150 or whatever the list price is. OK at the sale price. The zipper on mine snags constantly on the narrow poly wind flap at the very top of the neck. Makes getting it off a little aggravating. More reviews on the Woolrich web site.

Second Purchase
Bought all three colors about two years ago. Like them so much - and the vests too - that I purchased three more jackets when I saw them at a bargain price thinking the company was probably going to discontinue them. Seems likely since they no longer have them on the Woolrich website. Pity.
