Vacuum Cleaner Hose Compatible With Eureka Model 4870

What was I thinking?I really like my Eureka 4870 aka "Boss" vacuum, which has served me well for years. When the hose began to leak air at the point where it enters the rigid tubing, I tried holding it in place, with some success, just wrapping my hand around it. But it was not just inconvenient; it kept pinching my hand! Eventually, I resorted to wrapping the increasingly large gap with gaffers tape. While it didn't work all that well, I was proud of myself for being thrifty. After putting up with this longer than I wish to admit, I finally found this replacement hose on Amazon. The price was about like my wife and me eating lunch at a fast food joint. Delivery was crazy fast. Installing it took less than 5 minutes, after retrieving a torn screwdriver from my shop. And it works like new! Why did I wait to do this, right? Rhetorical question; don't answer that.

I really like our old vacuum, and I was sorry to see that this part failed. I was excited, however, to see that you could get this replacement part. I’m so glad it was available. It fit perfectly, and it was easy to install.

You know, where all the french fries go.No longer.Since it comes with rubber and plastic adapters, it fits a mulitude of vacuums.I used it to attach to the sucking end of a Rocket Tru-Pet handheld vacuum. Works like a charm.
