the putty was great for helping me rebuild my hand strength.

I see a lot of negative reviews about the scented putty being slimy/oily, as well as not being able to get the container open because it seeps through the lid a bit in transit. Both of these are true, BUT the oily feeling goes away after the first use (unless it sits for a long time without being used). And yes, it does seep out during transit, making it difficult to get the lid off, but once you get the lid off the first time (I suggest warming the container in your hands, scraping what you can out from under the lid, and using jar grips to open it), it's fine and doesn't do that again. Something about the texture/consistency of the scented ones contributes to this, the other styles don't seep out like that, just get stuck to the lid. I love these puttys. I do think that this size is perfect for most smaller adult hands, if you just want something easy to work with, but I think the 4" tins are a better value for your money, and if you're looking for a more engaging fidget toy or a better putty for stress or anxiety, the larger tins are the way to go. The scented ones are the closest consistency to silly putty from the dollar store, so I do see why people say they'd be better off just buying that compared to a scentsory putty. Don't let the complaints deter you if you want to try it though...it's putty, it's going to melt some in transit, it shouldn't be surprising that it seeps out a little (though I do think they could package it better so it wouldn't be as bad). And it's scented, so it shouldn't be surprising that it separates some over time, just play with it and it will work back into the putty

I really want to love this putty, and do enjoy it once I get it out of the tin…but that’s the problem. It’s nearly impossible to remove from the tin. I didn’t have a hard time opening the lid like others have, but the putty won’t come out without excessive effort. I had to scrape it out of the tin with a popsicle stick.If you’re buying this for the smell, unless you want it to smell like coffee was made yesterday in the next room over, I’d go for something else.

I own a lot of Crazy Aaron’s putty. This is a good one if you want a lighter scent. Color is vibrant

Fun putty… bought it for the sensory aspects of the putty and it didn’t smell like coffee at all

The putty had seeped out and the lid was stuck on. It took a lot to get it out then it was so oily. Not like previous ones. The oil eventually worked into the putty, but it was so messy at first. I was a bit disappointed that it was such a small tin for the price. The coffee scent is nice, though.

The can was hard to open. It did smell like coffee. Most of the slime was stuck to the can making it hard and rough to get out. I would not waste your money on this brand.

Modern silly putty! The colours and styles of the puttys are amazing and all feel great in the hands. Excellent for a fidgety toy if you like squishing.The smell was barely there though.
