Applesauce is a dachshund/rat terrier/shih tzu mix with a weirdly shaped body and zero waist. Without these, her diaper would just slide down and right off because she's shaped like a sausage, but these suspenders did the trick! Easy to put on and she seems comfortable. We had no problems with the velcro losing its grip (just make sure to fasten it to itself when washing.)My main concern with these suspenders before buying was that they'd be uncomfortable around her neck, but we just pulled them down a little further to be around her chest instead, and they didn't budge! She was annoyed that she had to wear clothes but these suspenders didn't seem to make her any itchier than anything else we tried, and they worked perfectly to keep her diaper on!

I was hesitant to buy these because they seem kind of expensive and if they didn’t work, I was going to be out like 20 bucks. My dog has diapers. I got on Amazon that The elastic on the top. It’s like a little dress for her. Her tail goes through it. These work really good to hold the diaper on so she can’t wiggle out of it. So far, no issues!!

We’ve never understood how people are able to keep dog diapers or diaper covers on their pups - our beagle and every foster we’ve had seems to be naked again within minutes. There are suspenders out there with clips, but don’t bother. Your dog has nothing but time to figure out how to pull those loose. This version DOES NOT MOVE. Feels like it’s made better than other suspenders as well.

My mini-dachshund was incontinent due to a tumor. The item attaches to the wrap (diaper) with Velcro ends. Unfortunately, my dog kept slipping the wrap off regardless - he got lolout of everything I’ve tried! Otherwise it would be a great product that does its job; it’s easy to attach and to take off.

My dog chewed through these suspenders faster than it took me to put them on him. They weren’t loose on him either. I don’t know how he did it. Complete waste of money. I really liked the look of them but I can’t recommend them because they shouldn’t be that easy to chew thru.

If your dog is incontinent and wears diapers or is a bitch and bleeds all over the darn place... Then you are aware of how diapers fall off... Get this strap and they won't.It works well and it's easy to adjust and readjust,,,It really adds style to your dogs look...

I’m on the fence. First few times I used this it worked perfectly. Then within a week I noticed the Velcro starting to lose its stickiness. I’d find the strap randomly on the floor somewhere in the house. So I learned quickly that it is important to make sure you clean the Velcro every day so not to get a build up of lint and such. After cleaning out the lint, the Velcro is much stronger, but this morning I found a naked foster pup laying next to his diaper with the strap still attached to it! I’m not sure how he was able to manage this. But he squirmed his way out of it. On the plus side the Velcro held onto the diaper despite him doing a squirmy wiggle dance on his back; that usually slides him right out of his diaper. Thankfully throughout the day he’s pretty good at keeping the straps and diaper in place. The straps definitely help to keep the diaper from sliding off. As long as there is not any lint build up. My 12 yr old male foster dog also seems to be fairly comfortable wearing this. It’s not choking him or constricting any movement. He’s a stocky,15 lb Maltese Doxie (Moxie). He’s quite long and the straps fit well. I was worried the strap might not be long enough, but it was. I like that it is adjustable as well. He needs to lose a couple pounds so it’s nice to know the strap will adjust with him. The strap is well made. I purchased the brighter colors because they are easier to find and spot around the house. I only gave three stars because I’m not sure how these will hold up over time, and the fact that it is possible for dogs to slip out of the strap in the middle of the night with some effort.

I can't believe something so small has made such a big difference in our house. We couldn't keep the male wraps on our chihuahua before and ended up having to pee pad the entire house to protect the carpet. Now he is able to wear the wrap and it doesn't fall off like before. It fits perfectly and it doesn't bother him to wear it even at night. So glad we have our house back!
