Fuzzy Bump Chenille Stems Pipe Cleaners, Pack of 100 (Green)

I wanted to do a simple craft, just for fun, that required green bumpy chenille stems specifically. I could not find them stores in my area, but was pleased they could be ordered from Amazon. The quality was not the level of similar items that could be gotten years ago. Perhaps that is because there is less demand for them? These served their purpose, and even though I had to sort through the package to find acceptable ones in the end they served their purpose and I had fun with my craft.

I think they look even better than the photo (green). A perfect green for Christmas or St. Patrick's day. They're going to be perfect for my crafting project. It also came with a little blue felt key chain just like in the photo. I'm not sure what I'm going to do with it, but I was surprised that it was an add on.

I bought these bump stems to complete the paper roses I was making for a party decoration. Though I was told they'd take over a month to arrive (I'm not an Amazon Prime member), I was pleasantly surprised when I got them about 10 days after I placed my order. When I opened the package, I admired the shapes and the lush green color of the stems but quickly found that they were considerably thinner than another brand I'd bought at a local craft store for only slightly more per stem. As such, they do not support the weight of even the lightest paper, and even twisting extra ones around groups of flowers didn't keep them from drooping. They did look lovely though, and the bumps made passable "leaves". Perhaps for different project, these stems would work better.
