For those who need to record long duration or are simply tired of low battery warnings!
Picture this: You are using your DSLR camera for video game streaming, or recording a music video for a band. Halfway through the session, the camera shuts off. Yet again, another dead battery. This device works by tricking your camera into thinking a real battery is plugged in while you are attaching the other end to a wall outlet. This is simply an ingenious option to have endless battery (so long as you have an actual power source to keep it going).

Make sure you have uninterrupted power for camera
These phantom power enables me to use my Canon DSLR EOS rebel T2i as a WebCam, for live streaming. I am extremely pleased with the function, and performance of this device. It works for hours on end, sometimes for over 48 hours without any kind of problem. If you are capturing time lapses, or using your DSLR camera as a web cam, or for live streaming, these phantom power device is a must. You would not like to run out of batteries in the middle of your process.
