Cal Hawk Tools CAPCF 120Piece Assorted Car Fuse

Excellent value and variety, but go easy on the flimsy container so you don't paly a game of 120 fuse pick-up!
I like to tinker with random projects in the garage, and for some reason, I really like to tinker with 12 volt electrical projects. Recently, I have installed heated hand grips and an LED light bar on my ATV, LED light bar on my John Deere tractor, a linear actuator chute deflector and an array of other projects that all needed fusing. Bring on the 120 piece Cal-Hawk variety pack! The fuses came in a plastic case that leaves a lot to be desired. The case has very cheap clasps and I broke one off after the second time I opened it. The amperage rating on the fuses is very hard to read unless you get the correct angle or happen to be looking at the key on the box itself. Those two minor issues aside, if you go to the hardware store and buy a 4 pack of blade fuses, they cost about a buck, so it's easy to see the value in this large 120 pack.I also appreciate the variety of amperages the package comes in. I have plenty to chose from for my custom wiring jobs and also all the standard amp sizes for my vehicles. If you've ever blown an auto fuse before and had to run to the hardware store for a single fuse, you know how much of a time saver this will be. 5 stars for the value and variety, but go easy on the flimsy storage box so you don't play a game of 120 fuse pick-up!

Box o' Fuses
Nice assortment of basic fuses. The ones I have used thus far are still working so no issues there. Seems like a good value. I'd say I would buy again but with this many fuses I likely wont have to for a while. Buy with confidence.

Useful to have around; Probably never have to buy another blade fuse again
These are great; very useful to have around the house; you never know when you might need one. I bought this because I installed an in-line fuse and new battery for my kids' Powerwheels vehicle...figured it would be useful to have a few spare around. Decided on this one since it not only had 30A for that battery, but also had lots of other sizes. Since I've gotten these, I've used 3 of them(!) One on the aforementioned Powerwheels vehicle and two on the riding lawnmower.

Good fuse, bad box
There are 7 fuse ratings, but only 6 compartments. It would have been nice if one of those had been split. In addition, the two they put in the same compartment are nearly identical in color so you have to look close to see what you're getting. As fuses go, these do what they should. It's nice that the rating isn't just a stamp, but is embossed in the plastic so the paint isn't going to wear off leaving you with a handful of guesses on ratings.

Got what I paid for
I admit, I cheaped out and bought this inexpensive assortment of fuses. Sure enough, they are not only inexpensive, but also cheap. The metal blades that make contact with the fuse holder are very thin and flimsy. They bend easy if your fuse holder has a firm grip, or if the grip is loose, they might not make contact. Loose contact means sparks and flickering lights. The colors are a bit off from the Littlefuse brand, and there is no white paint on the amperage marking, making it illegible. After having trouble with two fuses out of the 120, the whole bunch went in the trash. I'll keep the plastic container for storing screws or something.

Right item, right photo, right company to deal with. Get it right, right away.
Much, MUCH better than the POS Bussmann 'kit' that comes with 70 glass fuses and only 30 of what you wanted in the first place. This kit has exactly what you need. While Amazon won't let you put valid product feedback for the 'other' guy (must be paying someone off), this product is easy to explain...it comes with what you paid the money for, per the ad, with exactly what is in the ad.Buy this one, stay away from the Bussmann crap kit.

don't fit in fuse holders
The blades on these fuses are made of thinner metal and are stamped wider than typical. They may need to get filed down to fit into the fuse receptical. they're not worth the trouble.

It is a good value, wish I could actually see the amperage on each fuse.
They are fuses, they work and you get a good selection, but you can barley read the amperage # on the top of the fuse, yes there color coded and thats standard but it would have been nicer if the amperages were in white so you could see them, especially with my old eyes.
