KEENMen's Targhee 3 Slip On Comfortable Casual Leather Mules

I bought these again, because the last pair I had lasted 3 years, and I wore them almost everyday, through all kinds of tasks, and all kinds of weather, except really deep snow. The hiking soles are second to none. I've never slipped or fallen. Extremely comfortable. There are some small, slight differences in their manufacture, but it shouldn't affect quality or comfort. They r well made, and I hope they last as long as my previous pair. If I had to say anything bad, they break in hard. Still having a problem just sliding my feet in them. I had that problem with my last pair, and it soon went away. If anything changes for the worse I will change my review, but I think KEEN is a quality shoe and I won't have to.

I like everything about these shoes. I usually don't like any shoes.

I just received these today and thought I would share a few points. I so this with all new footwear that I get. I always wear them around inside the house for several days or a week before venturing outdoors in anything I get. First, it minimizes dirt and scuffs so that if I need to return them, they aren’t so trashed that they can’t re-sell them to someone else who might appreciate them. Second, it gives me an option to get them off if they turn out to be uncomfortable and I can wear something else, rather than being miles from home and stuck in something uncomfortable. And third, if f they turn out great, they will start to conform to my feet and take on a a form fitting shape that will be an easy transition as an outdoor shoe. I have done this without any issues for decades in all my footwear.Upon seeing other reviews, I see that some people say that the stitching doesn’t hold up well with rough use. Now that I have these, there is a lot of overlay panels of leather on these, and usually what I do is I will generously coat shoes like this with Obenaufs. It’s a leather treatment and I find that it preserves the leather and lubricates it as well as the stitching. This will minimize threads from fraying and possibly tearing out or busting seams. I know most people won’t bother and most people probably feel that a good pair of shoes shouldn’t need this process if they are made well. That’s a fair point. But, I like insurance and I want my purchases to last as long as possible. Adding this product to the shoes also conditions them and armors them against the elements a bit, which only adds to the value and longevity of the shoes.Fit: These are really tight out of the box. The top of the “tongue” keeps curling in as I put them on and I have to use my finger to flip it back. It hurts a bit. I am assuming it’s because they are new and I hope they become more pliable. The Obenaufs will surely help with that. The overall fit is very snug at this point. I am a true 9.5 and ordered a 9.5.I will update this review if it becomes necessary as these wear in.

Laces get old! I like keens and despise laces, so these fit the bill. I wear a 14D and these fit as expected @14D. Nonissues with construction quality. Would buy again.

These shoes are extremely comfortable. Whenever I go through airport security the TSA agents always compliment them, and ask for the brand name... totally serious! They don't at all feel loose not having laces. The elastic is just perfect... The first week they were tight for sure, but they gave in a bit and now sustain a great secure comfortable fit.Speaking of TSA... I stood in line countless hours on end at airports flying to/from Laos from USA, and these shoes were nothing short of comfortable. They go well with shorts, jeans, slacks, etc... I highly recommend these shoes... they're worth every penny! I have half a mind to order a 2nd pair while this model line is still for sale... because I'm overly picky about shoes. I probably went through 8 pair of nice expensive shoes with the Amazon 7-day trial & return program before I kept only these Keen slip-on shoes.

Comfortable.

I've worn size 10.5 for decades and usually a higher end slip on shoe than these (Ecco, etc.). These are a bit tight once on, and also a bit tight to slide into, but to be fair I think the slip on tightness helps once they're on the foot. You need a shoe horn. The colors are as advertised, they are comfortable and easy to walk in right out of the box.

I have worked in kitchens for years and these are the best nonslip, no laces, slip-ons I have ever worn.I have a bad arch in my left foot, and I feel no back pain at all.I usually buy insoles but I don't need to with these shoes.

Love these. I religiously take a 11.5 and these were slightly on the roomy side which is great in cooler weather with heavier socks. A bit tight around the ankle but that should snug out over time.

Der Schuh ist sehr bequem, man geht wie auf Moos. Allerdings sind die Angaben teilweise falsch. Der Schuh verfügt nicht über eine Schnürung, ist kein Hausschuh und hat keine "Kitten Heel". Diese Angaben führen zu unnötiger Verwirrung und Kundenzurückhaltung, was dieser perfekte Schuh nicht verdient hat.

It has been harder getting the original KEEN fit for women. They have changed most of the shoes to the narrow toe/slender shoes that do not resemble or fit like KEEN used to.So I decided to check out the men's selection and found these which look to be the same as the womens' HOODOO slip on.Firstly with size. I ordered a mens US 7.5 which fits exactly like a womans US 9.I find they are supportive and fit securely on my feet.They are very comfortable, but did notice on one foot (I have one foot that is slightly bigger than the other)the leather was a little stiff in the area where your foot slips in. I am sure this will soften after wearing for a while. The shoe comes up higher on the foot which I like as the shoe fits nicely in the heel.I am very happy with my purchase and the shoes arrived quickly.

I own a lot of KEEN shoes and boots and find that they fit me well due to the wider-than-average toe box. If I can find a wide version then it’s even better. This slip on shoe is typical KEEN quality, which is to say “excellent”, and the leather is smooth and supple. The lugged outsole seemed grippy enough when I played disc golf in them and were fairly comfortable out of the box.The reason I deducted one star was due to inconsistent sizing. I wear 10.5 wide in KEENs (my Anchorage III boots and Targhee III Oxford Hikers) but these slip-ons were too long so my heel would lift. I returned them, ordered the 10 wide, and they seem to fit like my other KEEN shoes. Not sure why the discrepancy and I didn’t bother to check the country of manufacture, but that might be the reason. Overall, I’m happy with the product, even if it took a few extra steps to get there.
