PowerTrax 1955-LR Lock-Right Differential Lock Assembly Fits GM 10.5"

I bought this this expecting to break an axle before it would bust...but as the pictures show, that is not the case. I thought I lost my transfer case, because is started grinding, and stopped moving. Upon inspection back at my shop I found the noise was at the rear, and pulled it apart to find it busted into 5 pieces on one side and 2 on the other. It also chipped a single tooth on the side gear, but no other damage to the carrier, or gears. Just total destruction of the locker. This is with 35" tires on a K2500 suburban, and nothing extreme with it, only a small amount of slow crawling that a stock Jeep Cherokee made it through...
