TIGHT FIT
Cap used on 1969 Chevelle SS gas tank. Nice tight fit.Gasket on cap resealed the fuel system. Highly recomend stant caps on restomods.

Doesn't fit '64 Chevelle
Fit wasn't even close on my Chevelle. Vented gas tank (non-vented cap) required. Perhaps your luck is different. For $2, you don't have much to lose.

Does not fit any old chevy I have
I tried this on my 69 Nova, My Impala and Camaro. It is not fitting what the application chart says. These are like miniature gas caps and very cheaply made. You should see it side to side with the old gas cap from the car.
