Nice for 09 wrx
Product arrived late so purchased same clutch off ebay...installed on my 2009 wrx. The clutch pedal feels the if not softer than the stock exedy clutch. The disc is single sprung not dual like the stock clutch disc. That being said the first few engagements were rough. After that had revv or "double revv" a little more than usual to break it in (only in first gear). After about 400 miles it smoothed out. Just hoping it last 10-15k. The stock clutch kit price is around $700 which skyrocketed after "covid". This is a good kit, cant imagine it will last super long but pulling the engine to swap it is a day task for most subie guys.

This clutch did not last long
I installed this on a 2007 Subaru Outback 3.0R that had been manual swapped by a previous owner who is a Subaru mechanic. The clutch on the car was ok but put this on while I was in there. I wanted a lightweight flywheel because that is the way the manual versions of this car was delivered in Europe and Australia. Ok on to the issuesRight after install I could not get the clutch to disengage. I was able to adjust the clutch throw at the pedal which fixed that issue. I have put roughly 4-5k miles on the car since install and the clutch chatters like crazy. I was hoping it would subside after some usage but it has not. I can also hear some indications that the throw-out bearing is on its way out. I chose this clutch because it says it can handle 340 HP / 332 lb-ft which far exceeds what the 3.0 H6 puts down.I will be replacing this with a better quality clutch disc and through-out bearing. I am happy with the flywheel, it allows the engine to rev. I was able to get 25.5mpg on the highway and 20-21mpg commuting with the lightweight flywheel installed, H6 is quoted at 23mpg highway and 20mpg combined.

The clutch fits!
The pressure plate sticks out a little further than the OEM Exedy which makes it disengage quicker at the top of the peddle. The pressure plate is also a little stiffer so it takes a little more force then OEM to push the peddle. Since it's a stage 2 that probably has something to do with more clamp force. Backing out of the garage and driving it for the first time was extremely grabby. I cleaned the clutch surface 4 or 5 times to make sure it was clean so i kind of expected it to grab hard the first couple of times. After only 25 miles the minor chatter and abruptness seemed to get better. I'll post again after at least 500 miles to update.

It’s stiff but it’s held up
Installed it in my 05 LGT cause I needed cheap, hoping I wouldn’t have to use the warranty. It’s a stiff pedal! It had quite a bit of chatter for about 10k miles and smoothed out. It was a daily for a year or so and I don’t beat on it too bad. Hasn’t given me any problems. If you have a sleeve on the nose of your transmission this throw out bearing won’t fit. I ordered a new sleeve kit.

2017 Subaru WRX
Good fitment. Feels a little bit harder than on stock one. But it's stage 2 clutch, and it's supposed to be like that.

Doesn't fit
Bought to install on an 06 impreza. The clutch won't bolt up and now I'm stuck without a car for another week while I order a new one from someone more reputable.

Popping clicking noise from clutch
I order the clutch at the customer's request. I reviewed most of the buyer feedback and decided to roll the dice.As far as look and materal it looks amazing could not ask for a nicer looking product.I installed this on a 2014 Wrx. Once finished I noticed clicking and popping every time I come out of a hard deceleration/ rapid backup.I decided to remove the transmission again and inspect all the parts. I found nothing!I removed a stock flywheel, clutch, pressure plate and throw out bearing off another customer's car who came in for a rod knock. I then installed all the parts on the 14 wrx and test drove... absolutely no sounds. Quite as a mouse. Back in the shop to tear it down and install this clutch kit again. Another test drive same thing... popping and clicking.. what gives!Needless to say! I do not recommend this kit.The price is 5 stars 🌟The looks 5 stars 🌟The performance 2 stars 🌟
