PACLOCK's UCS-82A Container Lock, Buy American Act Compliant, High Performance 6-Pin Cylinder, One Lock Keyed to a Number U-Pick! w/ 2 Keys, Blue Anodized Aluminum

I have two of these on my container for close to a year now.. They fit and work well and have held up to the weather. The only complaint is that since the locks are close to the ground, you can't see to insert the key. NOT the fault of the lock, just an observation. If the container was up on a trailer, it would not be an issue. Besides, once you use it enough times, you can put the key in by feel.

Very light and looks strong

Set screw that keeps it together when open is a hair short. When sliding open it’s possible for the barrel to come out at an angle. Have had 1 of my 4 come apart twice like that and have to get a screwdriver to back off slightly, reassemble, and put screw back in. Others have come close.

Got two of these for a shipping container I bought and had delivered. These locks fit perfectly and give me great peace of mind that thieves won't have an easy time getting to my valuables stored inside. Great product and great customer service team!It came with a little allen wrench, a piece of wire and a crimping sleeve for the wire, but no instructions for using them. It took me a little while to figure out how to attach the wire to the lock. Looks like you're supposed to use the allen wrench to loosen a set screw on the back and insert the wire, the tighten the screw. It's not included in any instructions I could find, but it's also not rocket surgery. Just takes a little curiosity and examination.

Locks seem to be well made and reinforced in all the right places but light everywhere else to save weight. Love the UCS setup so one key can do it all.

I have purchased several locks from Paclock. The locks are well made. Paclock has a wide range of products adaptable to numerous security needs. I have contacted Paclock with some questions to make sure I select the right product for my application. They have been prompt with responses and helpful with information. Even though I order through Amazon, Paclock is available directly to handle any questions. They have helped with returns and sent out replacements. Not that their product didn't work. It just didn't fit my specific application. Paclock will do whatever it takes to make sure their products fit your needs.Thank you Paclock for providing a solid product with unique features. And for being there to support your clients. I will never purchase another lock from anyone other than Paclock!

I use a shipping container as my "barn" on my farm for equipment and supply storage. I'm absent from the farm most of the time, only working on it on a weekend basis. The container has been broken into once and attempted to be broken into three additional times. Every time the vandals have left clues about how they did it, and every time I institute countermeasures for that episode. The UCS-82A is the first solution that has given me confidence that I'm ahead of the curve; not merely reacting. The design and construction is such that I believe the vandals would have to pretty much destroy the container handles in order to get in. I'm not sure they're that ambitious.
