It turns out that the motion detection is not working behind a window glass pane, thus it's not much meaningful to purchase this one and power it indoor. had to purchase a solar panel instead.If you are thinking about this, be aware it can only be used with a ring stick up cam when monitoring indoor, not monitoring outside while been installed inside behind a window.thought about returning it, however, it's not really the seller's fault even they don't describe well in advance. then I kept it. do not know whom to blame(possibly me?).

I had purchased a 20 foot charging cable for the Ring Spotlight from a separate company once before. It was a bit too long for my needs, an overestimation on my part, but it worked great at keeping the battery topped off. Half a year later a rodent had managed to chew through the charging wire! So, I purchased this OLAIKE 16ft charge cable to replace it since it was a few feet shorter and what I ultimately believe would be the same. I wired it and when I went to look for the tiny screws to attach it to the Ring Spotlight I didn't see any in the box. I reread the product description and sure enough it doesn't list it as one of the included package items.You'd think that it'd be included right? Two tiny screws? Keep that in mind when making this purchase. I had to dig around in my surplus nuts and bolts drawer. Aside from that inconvenience it charges the Ring just fine without issue.

I had to snip off the little rabbit ears on the plug for the back of the camera, no biggie, and I was in business, cheaper than a solar panel and as long as it lasts I’ll be happy, working great so far, only time will tell. As for now I’m giving it my recommendation, I don’t think that you can go wrong!

I wish that different cord lengths were available. Also that a plug that doesn’t stick out from the wall 3+ inches i.e. an angle plug. Have not used outdoors so can’t vouch for it being weatherproof.

Used with the newest generation stick up cam and was pleasantly surprised when it worked as a lot of the others are not compatible. If you have the newest camera version stick up outdoor cam,this is the one!

I bought this for my Stick up cam battery. It says that it is able to be used on that camera. It does work but my generation stick up cam does not have the screw holes to screw the power adapter in. I have two screw holes on the side of the adapter.

Excellent addition to the spotlight cam.
