Thomas' Big Book of Beginner Books (Thomas & Friends)

My kids love the series and I’m so glad we bought this too

My son is obsessed with trains and we read this book of stories multiple times per day for several months after receiving.

It's a nice hardcover book with 5 thomas stories, however this book is more for those kids who are learning to read. I bought this for my toddler who loves watching thomas, and I thought we'd use it as a picture book for a while, but the pictures are too similar to use as a picture book. There are a LOT of pictures of thomas on the tracks so it's hard for me to come up with things for her to look at. Also, the paper is not glossy, it's just regular book paper, which is easily tearable. That being said, it's a nice substantial book for early readers. It was just a bit different from what I expected. I'll keep it for when she's a little older since the stories are cute and there's 5 to choose from.

The book consists of 5 nice Thomas the train stories. It is a good quality of book with lots of pictures and text. My 2 year old loves them.

I ordered this book after my son found it at the library. He loves Thomas and this gives us multiple books in one. Great if you are going on a trip, you don’t have to take multiple books.

My sons grandmother loves reading this to him over FaceTime. He acts out the stories with his trains afterward.

Do you have a rowdy Thomas fan that needs a book full of great looking Thomas trains? We finally found a thomas book that isn't a novel squeezed into a picture book! The stories are unabridged and fairly short. The stories are suitable length for a three year old or a very keen toddler. When they tire of it tuck it away until you are ready for a level 2 easy reader because basically these are easy reader stories. This book can be read cover to cover at bedtime in twenty minutes. This is not a literary masterpiece but a great choice for a crazy obsessed thomas fan. Still need more Thomas? Look into the original series by Rev. Awdry. A more engaging experience for storyteller and a quiet patient listener.
