Great Product and Seller
My prior laptop is an Acer and it's my brand preference for a home laptop (non gaming). I only replaced it because the power connector port was damaged and not charging. This laptop model was recommended to me by a gamer. It is very fast and the screen resolution is amazing. I have bad eyes and this is so much easier to read text on. The keyboard is backlit but.... when it's not lit, you can't read the letters so I have to constantly hit the shift key to read the keys. That is one of two negatives. The other is the scroll function on the touch pad which I'm probably going to disable because it's so sensitive. Other than those tiny issues, great laptop. Also, the seller was very responsive when I had a question. I didn't understand one aspect and after they very quickly responded I was able to understand the drives loaded onto the laptop. Very grateful for their quick response and patience.

Battery Horrible
Only thing I dislike is the volume and battery. Volume goes out quickly and battery drains fast. It doesn’t even last up to an hour and needs to be plugged in always. However, everything else is great and I cannot complain about anything else about this product. My only mistake is volume and battery life on this laptop.

Good mid-priced gaming option
Bought this for my 16 year old son for a balance between school and play. Wanted the power of a mid range gaming laptop but didn't want to pay over $1k for a laptop. This one seemed to be the best compromise. My son uses CAD software for one of his classes and the processor and memory is enough to make it easy to create solids and simulations. The size is nice, not too big for gaming laptop, fits well on small desk in his room. Has fairly decent battery life considering the fans kicks in for cooling when playing some of his games. Colors still make you stand out a bit but that's typical of the genre . Keyboard doesn't stay lit all the time like others. Fast load times with SSD. Over all, a good mix of value while keeping price somewhat reasonable. He's enjoying his games and I kept my promise to buy him a gaming laptop without breaking the bank.

Great price and great quality for a gaming computer
I bought a Hp gaming computer before I purchased this one. It could not load the Sims 2. I contacted the tech support, but I was told the game couldn’t load on the computer. I have loaded this game on non gaming computers before. I returned it and replaced it with the Acer nitro 5. It downloaded quickly. It is the fastest computer I had ever owned. It has so much power to download any game I want to play.

Battery life sucks!
I got this laptop as a Christmas gift for $863.00, it was labeled as brand new. First time using it Christmas Day and the battery only lasted about 40min fully charged, and kept freezing up. I had someone look at it and found out the laptop was not brand new! It’s actually A refurbished lap that’s over 6 years old! Windows 11 was updated to it with out windows 9 or 10!! The laptop was so screwed up that it took 16 hours to fix!! They sold me a refurbished laptop that wasn’t even fixed and charged me full price for a brand new one!! I had to pay to get it fixed!! I sent a message saying I new the laptop was an old one, i ether need some of my money back and have it sold to me as a refurbished or I want a full refund with the money I had to pay to get the laptop fixed!!!! This company I got this laptop from is horrible!! Pretty pissed!!!

Smooth and effective!
I got this computer for my son after he was using an Asus Tuff gaming computer for one year previously. He likes this Acer much better. It runs all his games smoothly. Looks better too. Run quieter as well. 16 GB Ram seems to be plenty for modern gaming. This Acer had the best specifications (the ones sought, particularly Ram) for the price compared to competitors. No problems whatsoever with this purchase. We are both very pleased. Would recommend.

Great bang for your buck!
Love this laptop. Upgraded to this specifically for the release of the Diablo 2 Resurrected since my old laptop did not meet the requirements. I got the 16gb version. Works like a gem! I'm even considering buying a second for my boyfriend as well.

Worth it!
This is a great laptop, will run most games. Battery life is kinda crappy but as long as its plugged in it works as long as you need it
