That which does not kill us makes us stronger.
First thing, I ordered this helmet from Sharp Knives, they shipped it the next day had it in three days. Best price on the internet, I know I checked. Helmet looks great, no problems like some reviewers said, guess it depends on who you order it from. It is wearable, fits my 24 inch noggin with adjustability in both directions. Some pictures show light tan colored fur mine came with multi shade gray like rabbit fur which is what I wanted. The horns although plastic they are very thick, thicker than real horns not cheap thin stuff. The metal stand in nothing special but since I'm building a complete display for this helmet, two Conan swords, snake dagger and other Conan items out of wood with serpent head carvings it doesn't matter.

Great Barbarian Helmet
I was a bit worried when I bought this product due to the fact that I have had a ton of disappointment when ordering helmets in the past off this site and others. To my surprise this helmet is by far the cheapest, best made and best looking helmet I have in my collection. Very satisfied. Only thing this bad boy need is a bit of padding for comfort and its good to go.

The exchanged item was worse than ths return
Review update... Had returned the helmet, it was too big, with darker than advertised fur trim. Apparently, the fur trim varies a little, both hel ets varied slightly, from smokey gray fur, to brownish gray. Seller sent me a slightly smaller helmet, to fit better. But the horns are poorly designed, and attach loosely to the helmet. It looks cool, but is flimsy, despite being heavily constructed. Looks like they sent me soneone else's return. Returned a helmet, with one loose horn, got an exchange with 2 loose horns. Unacceptable.

Well worth the Money!!!
First of all, This is PERFECT for display and the stand really sets it off. The helmet is a pretty good replica of what Arnold wore in his 1982 movie, Conan the Barbarian.I wanted something that looked like an authentic viking helmet without having to spend over $100.I am a member of a hashing kennel and this helmet was purchased to be worn on a weekly basis. Its pretty well constructed but a bit heavy, maybe around 10 actual pounds. This thing looks AWESOME when worn! Everyone compliments it and its the ultimate party accessory to be sure. You will want to purchase some additional padding for comfort, and also if you have a smaller sized head like myself.Overall, I am very pleased with the quality of this Helm not to mention the affordable price. The only minor complaints I had was the shoddy padding that comes abit unglued and the oversized screw holes for the stand. Other than that this helm is pretty damn Boss!!Great for Conan collector's and their display curios or/and for dork's like me who want to actually wear it to look cool. ON-ON!!!

Nice Conan Helmet!
Wore this on halloween, got a ton of compliments. Its a heavy helmet though. The front needs more padding. Looks great on the shelf too!

Clearly not prop quality...not really made for a costume either
While the helmet itself is pretty awesome, its made to be left on the stand, not worn. The edges are rough, and it's covered in a sheen of oil, most likely to protect the cheap metal from rusting out.It was a shame, but I went with a cheap, cartoony Viking helmet for Halloween instead of this awesome thing because it's simply not made to be worn
