I live in Southern California so it doesn't get too dry here. Although 45-50% is okay for me during the winter, my houseplants feel otherwise. Since the weather cooled down, the air has become more dry causing my plants to get a little sad.I purchased this humidifier for my plants in hopes of keeping their area above 60% humidity in the winter.The unit is easy to refill (distilled or RO water only to prevent mineral build-up) and holds quite a bit at 4L. The unit looks like it'd be fairly easy to clean as well since I can fit my whole hand inside the water tank to scrub with a sponge. The mist outlet can rotate so you can get optimum targeted mist.Since the unit can cover quite a bit of range in a room, I just put it on my main plant shelf to cover the 50 or so houseplants that are in the vicinity.There are several settings and I run it at medium which can last quite a while with the large water tank.What's more, it runs pretty quietly. I've been using this unit for a little over 2-weeks and have only had to refill it a couple times.My hygrometer shows that the air around my plants is a nice humid 65%+ when the humidifier is running. My plants are happy and so am I.

This device is absolutely a safer during the dry winter. The large 4L tank supports the device to work longer than 12 hours. And both the tank and the base are easy to clean and maintain. Now it helps us to improve our bedroom humidity from 30% to 55%, we love it and will recommend this product for sure.

Update: Although the humidifier that I received did not have the output that it was supposed to (based on the specifications in the description on Amazon and on the instructions that came with it), the seller stood behind their product and gave me a credit so that I could get a new one. The output did improve after the first few days, but still was about 1/3 of what was advertised. Other than the output (which is why I purchased this humidifier), it is a nice humidifier. It is quiet and stylish. Because I am hopeful that this issues that I had were specific to the unit that I received and due to the fact that the seller made the effort to make it right, I have updated my rating to 5 stars.Original Review:I've been running the humidifier on high for 36 hours and have used about 1/3 of the water in the tank. If it was working as stated in the description, it would go through the tank in around 12 hours. We are using it in a bedroom (with the door closed for most of the time) and it has had no impact on the humidity in the room according to the humidistat that we have in the room.

This is a good size cool mist humidifier I have been using more than a week in my computer/bedroom. I sleep much better not feeling dry and less coughing at night. The mist is adjustable by pressing button and power level is determined by light illumination. The button took sometime to get used to as I liked simple dial more. Nightlight is a plus but I turn it off. Another great feature is color illumination on the side to tell you how much water is left Inside.Great gadget to have now approaching winter and more dry air. I truly enjoy it and color also match my computer equipments

I wanted a humidifier for living room area where we usually watch TV, nothing fancy but it needed to be very quiet and a good capacity.When searching we found this one mainly because of the brand (we have other Taotronics products and they have good design and are reliable) and the feature descriptions (quiet, large capacity, multiple mist levels).This humidifier meets all our needs and has been working great. Here is what I like:1)Beautiful design2)Reasonable price3)Good tank capacity (around 1 gallon)4)Very quietMake sure like any humidifier out there you clean and dry it well on a regular basis so it doesn't grow mold. Don't let water sitting there for too long, either use it or empty it.

Your browser does not support HTML5 video.  A great humidified, works very well, arrived quickly. This humidifier holds a lot of water, is very quiet, performs very well, and puts out a lot of vapor. Just the thing for winter when you have dry air in the house. Also has a built in LED night light and variable control. Note: the night light is a steady light, it looks in the video that it's flashing but it's because of the different frame rates.We have two of these units and between both they pretty much take care of the whole house. We have 1800 sq. ft. one level. I highly recommend this humidifier.
