Conair Hair Dryer, 1875W Mid-Size Blow Dryer, White

These dryers (I ordered two of these) came just a couple of days after I ordered them. Each dryer was packaged in a nice box. Inside the box was the dryer and an "Instruction and Styling Guide" booklet written in English and Spanish.Now, let me just say that I bought a Conair dryer probably 25 years ago and I have never used any other brand since that time. So last week when my old Conair dryer quit working, it was time to order me a new one. The problem is, every time I needed my hair dryer my daughter had it and I had to go on a hunt for it. So, I thought, hey! Why don't I solve that issue and get TWO of them so she can leave mine alone! I had checked at the local WalMart and a couple of other places and the cheapest one I could find ran about $15 without taxes, so when I spotted this one on Amazon, I said 'This is THE one!' and ordered two of them.It's a little compact dryer, which I like because it doesn't take up much space on my vanity. I like that it has a little hanging hook on the cord so I can hook it on a little hook that I have in the bathroom for when I'm done with it, keeps it out of the way. There's a real simple up and down switch that changes it from High heat to OFF to Low heat. And the low setting is still warm enough to do the job while you're setting up the style you want., and the High setting is almost all I ever use to get my thick hair dry quickly. Sweet and simple and to the point, this dryer tested out well like every other Conair dryer I've ever had.I do always test out the ALCI plug every time I use it (the Instruction book explains to do that because it's the feature that turns off the unit if you accidentally drop it in water.) I think it's good to be reassured that that's working since it's an important safety feature. After you test it, and once the button clicks the unit off, you can just push it right back in and it's ready to go.So I am very happy with these little compact dryers, as I do love me some Conair appliances. I would recommend them to everyone who has something to dry, and I am looking forward to having these for the next few years since my prior Conair dryers have lasted for years and were worth every penny I paid for them. This hair dryer is good and affordable!

Basic model: heat only, with low or high setting. Guard in back keeps your hair from getting sucked in the intake. Light enough that it's easy to handle and manipulate, even with carpal tunnel!High setting is warm enough to do the job, but not hot enough that it burns your skin as you dry and style. No-fuss drying is about as complicated of a dryer as I need, and it does that, so I'm happy.The low setting is mentioned for "delicate" or "thin" hair, but I didn't feel like it did much to dry mine after several minutes (I have thin blonde/Caucasian hair strands, but mine's voluminous enough for a sturdy ponytail or braids, if that makes sense?). I don't think that the "High" setting is going to be powerful enough for anyone with thicker/more textured hair, but I can only speak from my own experience here- YMMV.The Low setting is gentle and quiet enough that it won't scare or scald my dog after a bath, so that's a use for it! I'll stick to the High for mine and call it good.

I bought it $14 in 2016. Now it's 2025. It just works. Great quality. i bought another one in 2024.

I really love these hairdryers. I’ve been using the 1875s forever. I had my old one forever (they last a long time) and I was very happy with my replacement. Clean white color, easy to travel with, durable, cord length is great and the noise level is what you’d expect from a hairdryer.

Great value. I just needed a simple hair dryer. No fancy attachments. Just a dryer. This fit the bill. Two speeds high/low.

I can’t say that this blow dryer is really that bad because it dries your hair and it’s very lightweight. The dryer didn’t cost very much at all so I wasn’t expecting it to be some ionic dryer or the best out there but I thought it would at least get HOT! Conair Hairdryer is supposed to be a great brand and it’s been on the market for years so I expected more. The dryer is mid-sized, doesn’t weigh very much at all. It has a huge mouth on the end of it, but it didn’t come with an attachment, so your hair blows everywhere! This dryer gets warm, but not hot! I know that this price wasn’t that much but I will put more money into a better blow dryer next time!
