I hope it lasts longer than the last two Conairs
My first Conair blow dryer lasted from 1971 to 2017. It's true, 46 years. So when it finally died, I ordered Conair's Yellowbird, that lasted less than 2 years. I ordered Conair's Blackbird, that lasted less than 4 years. The current model, the Silverbird, longevity is yet to be seen. It appears well made and functions well.Edit - the plug refuses to stay in the socket in any of the 32 sockets in my house. My husband spread the plug a bit, still falls out of the socket 3 or 4 times when in use. Disappointing, considering the cost of the last Conair I will ever buy.
