The Beginner's Bible - A Starting Point - Timeless Children's Stories

This is the gift edition of the beloved Beginner's Bible I have known since I worked in a Christian bookstore 20 years ago! The cover is so pretty, with shiny gold gilding, a ribbon marker, and the pictures are so attractive, and fun for children. The stories are easy to understand for a young child, maybe 3-7, and I bought the activity book too, which corresponds to the stories in the Bible. This is an excellent Bible, a great buy and my grandson will love it for Christmas!

Bought for my godsons baptism. My boys have just the bible (not the set) and we purchased the ipad app that goes with it. We love it! We own several first bibles and my kids always wanted to read this version.We bring it with us to church and it keeps my youngest busy. This set was purchased as a gift so Im not sure about the quality of the dvd's or tapes. I thought it was a nice little bonus.

This is a cute book, colorful and great Bible stories for young children. BUT....I had ordered 2 as Christmas gifts for my youngest grandchildren and one book was great, but the the other had all upside down pages and the end of the book was at the beginning! If it wasn't for this and that I have to go through all the trouble to return one book I would have given 5 stars. Hope this doesn't happen to anyone else!UDATE: I received an exchange for the above book and I am very happy as Amazon is awesome with their exchange/return policy. Very pleased with this Bible story book and it will make a great Christmas gift. The book I received was perfect!

Durable, hardcover binding. Very colorful pictures with easy to understand wording of Bible stories. However, the illustrations all look too much alike, with the same big, round white eyes. Would like more detailed pictures.

This is my 3.5 year old favorite bible now. He loves to watch the DVD and listen to audio in the car as well. After a week he could 'read' his favorite stories because of how often we listen to it. The stories are written in a simple straight forward way, which he prefers to his other more kiddy bible.

My son received a small book at a parade that was one story from the beginners Bible. He loved reading this little book over and over again so I purchased the entire beginners Bible. I read this to him every night at bedtime and he loves it.

My 3 years old son absolutely loves his new bible and so do I. It’s already part of our night time routine! The bible stories are simply written for young kids and the images are beautiful and colourful. I fully recommend it to anyone wanting to introduce the Word of God to children!

I had mainly got this for the 90+ videos in dvd. But it did not play properly . Very disappointed. The book will be apt for 3-5 years age group.

Bought it to use with my grandkids. They love it and they enjoy reading the stories to one another. Good purchase. You can download a lot of free resources that go with the stories (from the website), like activity sheets, coloring sheets, etc. Great buy!
