Sof Sole Shoe Polish, Black, 1.5-Ounce

This is the ol’ time can of shoe polish we used years ago. It was a good, long-lasting polish then and it’s in this low priced can today. This is one of those products that do not need improvement, changes, fancy marketing plans because there is nothing to be improved. A little goes a long way, just like it did years ago. It’s basic , good, shoe polish and deserves lots of stars and recommendations today just as it did as as a perfectly good product yesterday in every way!

I ordered a can of black shoe polish and that's what I got. If you've ever used the leading brand name you will notice (other than the smell) no difference. I opened the can, hit it with a flame and used the lid to extinguish it. It goes on creamy (I use a small round brush) and brush buffs (large horsehair brush) into the nooks and crannies. Took my buffing cloth (old t-shirt) to my boots and I got the usual shiny finish I was hoping for. Good price on a great product and I got it fast. That was good, I needed it quickly. Any complaints in other reviews are most likely due to lack of experience. If you're military or just keep your footgear shiny, you will find this stuff more than adequate.

This is a nice, easy to use polish. The only thing is that I cannot get the top to seal back onto the little can.

Polish is very good. But needs a lid that fastens back on when done polishing. Finally had to put in a plastic baggie to keep, hoping it doesn't dry out before next use!

I purchased for my work boots and now I have a great shine on them.

I found it very hard to open The can. Wasn't easy to apply either with the Polish breaking up in the clumps. Then trying to put the lid back onto the can forget it. I never got it to go back on and I tried for over 15 minutes. I had to get up and wash my hands once just to get the Polish off of them. I tried and never succeeded. I'm using a Ziploc bag to try to get it to stay fresh so I might get a second use out of it. But overall very dissatisfied with the product and would never recommend anyone purchasing it.
