I am a beginner mosaic artist and I did not know I needed these tools until I started creating a large mosaic for my kitchen sink backsplash. These tools are very good quality and a good value. I love the spring action of the large tweezers, and the fine points on the smaller tweezers. The other two tools are very good for removing tiles when you change your mind and need to re-position them.

Working on an intricate project with glass mosaics, I decided to order this kit. I used the tool with a paddle at both ends often and the dental looking pick a little. I did not use the small tweezers at all. There is no spring and it's more work to pick up an object than it's worth. The other tweezers is ok but a little bulky. I guess paying $11 for two tools is expensive but I used them so much, decided it was a good purchase. When I was grouting the piece, I laid it flat onto some old grout which became embedded in the unfilled grout lines. I was able to easily pick out the old grout with the dental type tool. I also used the paddle tool (at both ends) to make sure my grout lines were a consistent width. If the blade could not fit between the glass, I knew I had to widen the line. I would have given a 5* rating if the tweezers allowed me to pick up mini objects easily. Just didn't work for me. Definitely recommend the kit because of the 2 tools which I will use on every future project.

I use these in my craft room for about a million things. lots of different sizes and shapes to use to place things that I want to glue, things to hold paper or embellishments down while they dry. points to get clogged glue bottles unclogged. the list goes on and on. they sit on my work table always and I reach for them often.

This was a recommended item when I purchased something else and it has been especially helpful in doing my project! I am very glad that I took the time to read about it and decide to purchase it.

They’re ok

This is great variety of tools to get started with and I use all of them? Great for intricate work. I can't think of another tool needed for laying great small and intricate mosaic pieces. Also love the paddle for getting grout into areas around unique pieces being placed in mosaic artwork. Definitely a must for beginners.

Great piece of quality kit at a very reasonable price. So pleased to have found the items are lovely and strong as well as sharp. Highly recommend them to everyone who works with mosaic.
