Not finished or functional, but a replacement was better and ultimately worked, with work!
I make and repair violins, cellos, other stringed instruments, and rehair bows. I ordered this for a client with an old bow that needed repairing. I could not, after multiple trials over an hour, thread the nut into the frog. Additionally, the base of the frog, including ferrule, mother of pearl, insert were unacceptably scored, as if sanded by a low grit paper. I requested a return and it was granted. I received the second frog today. The scoring on the base was much less, and ok for this old bow. The nut was installed and it fit the old bow well. However, I could not slide out the mother of pearl slide. After a call to the master instrument maker who trained me, and some internet research, I cut a small slightly less than 1/4" wide piece of maple and super glued it to the slide, being extremely careful not to let the glue run into the joint between the frog and the slide. I installed the slide on a 8" section of old bow, that I use when rehairing bows starting at the tip of the bow, put the end of the bow segment against a table top, and gently tapped the wood block I had glued on previously. Voila! The slide came out intact. Whew! Honestly, the seller should assure the parts work together before shipping! Finally, the frog is not supplied with a wedge. The hole for the hair end is oval, not your typical rectangular mortis. My guess it is intended to glue the hair in place, rather than hold it in place with a wedge (typical). I had to square up the mortise and cut a wedge to make this work.

These are reasonable quality, especially for the price, The only thing keeping it from being a 5 star review is that it has been impossible to disassemble to use as a replacement on a bow. I have tried all sorts of friction, pressure, etc. to get the slide that covers the hair in the frog out. My next attempt will involve freezing the frog to see if that helps loosen things up. I didn't expect such tight tolerances in these.

Perfect Match
This set of violin bow screw and frog replacement parts are manufactured of quality materials. The cosmetics were flawless. The inlays and nickle silver fittings were excellent.
