JIH Aquarium Filter Media Sponge Pad Foam (9.5x9.5x1.56 inch)

I seen this on a wedsite on how to use this product on pre hang back filters to get rid of the cartridges which are a waste of money this system seams to be working great. I use it in my 5.5,10 galloon tanks and seems to be working great all my parameters are rite on no more and no less using it for my Glofish galactic purple shark and fish mates Glofish purple Barbs also on my Betta tank and seems to be flowing great

Great size. Easy to cut with scissors to fit what I needed it for. Will definitely buy this product again if/when I need more.

I saw a hack using this instead of small carbon filter and while the area is bigger I'm not convinced it's better. I like that I could reuse but I find myself cleaning tank more often.

For this price, I just assumed it was 9.5 feet x 9.5 feet. $9 for a piece of foam the size of a dinner plate you have to be kidding me!

Ummm.... this smells like chemicals. Very strong smell that did not rinse out. Tossed it in the garbage can.

I put some in various tank filters as extra bio media and used to slow outlet flows that were too strong for betta and small fish. Great product to keep on hand

I cut this up and use as prefilter for my canisters. Serves the purpose well.

Multipurpose, seemed a little pricey for the amount of usable square footage.
