I am so happy with this purchase! The wool is amazingly soft. There was no odor right out of the bag even. Fluffs nicely after a little sun. Not heavy. Maintains a good temp keeping a great level of comfort. I love the level of craftsmanship and pride invested in producing these blankets. I sleep so soundly now; I had troubles sleeping prior. Worth every penny. I would purchase again and highly recommend.

This wool blanket is so soft and beautiful. I ordered the queen blue plaid. Although it is pretty enough to use as our bedspread, I did go ahead and put our spread on top of the blanket in order to keep it clean and to give an extra layer of protection. The blanket came out of the bag ready to use. These photos were taken less than 5 minutes after unpacking it. No smell, no wrinkles. Perfect. The box it came in was loosely taped and the zippered bag didn't seem airtight, so maybe they package it in a way that allows the blanket to breathe. I'm putting these on my wish AND gifting to others lists. We slept under this blanket for several nights before I wrote this review. It wasn't really cold yet, but I do think this kept us toasty. The red plaid twin would be perfect for our spare bed or a throw for Sunday Football watching. I want a plain, darker color to use for outdoor use as I remember we had an "Army Blanket" (all wool) that we always took to 4th of July. It never seemed to get dirty or mildew and magically never needed washing. After reading the attributes of wool, I understand why. We couldn't be happier.

Sizing a bit off, my king was 98“ x 102 inches. And itchy at first. But certainly warm and lightweight, good looking, and I think a great value, compared with washable Pendleton blankets, that are twice the price

Very pleased with the quality of the 2 blankets I ordered. Warmth without bulk, and not the scratchy, old-fashioned wool blankets your grandparents had. Not cashmere, but still decently soft, pure wool. Perfect as a layer between a sheet and quilt, or between a quilt and bedspread. Fully machine washable on gentle cycle using cold water. My blankets didn't have any sort of odor when I received them. They're made in France, so you're definitely getting MUCH better quality as opposed to something you'd find at a big box, discount retailer. Very pleased with the price, and I also expect to buy more to give as gifts.If you're looking for a high-quality, traditional, pure wool blanket, this is for you!

This is well made, soft, & a quality blanket! I’m super impressed & extremely happy with this purchase! Worth every penny! Comes in a reusable carry bag. The brown is more yellow but it’s beautiful & I love it 😍

The Good: This is well made for the price, and there are not as many ready virgin wool blankets makers out there at a price range that makes sense for items not as a showpiece. I use this under a goose down duvet, so it is not seen, but felt. I appreciate buying virgin wool, and a blanket not made in china.This lost 2 stars because:The Bad: I bought this as a King size. First, I have personally no ready way to verify 400GSM. It seems a bit on the light side for 400GSM, but it might be, but feels light wool weave for sure. Second: and IMPORTANT here: It came to me new, and smelly as in gassing off something. It is a chemical, oil like and an astringent something odor. Something not good at all. This blanket needs a sign 'REQUIRED washing before use'. It will gas off and odor even the room just sitting there. Maybe I am sensitive, but I am not really - it is there and others here complain of it. I have bought highend wool blankets from Pendelton and British Isle - and you should be able to take it new right off the shelf and sleep with it. Not this. It needs a full wash and tedious dry. This is wool, and King size wool is a pain to wash and dry properly. For the price, we really should not be given a product that requires a wash to eliminate some bad manufacturing odor to even use it - which cost me time and energy = money.

Wool blanket is bound on all sides with satin binding. The binding at the corners is securely miter stitched. Blanket weight is lightweight but very warm. This product met my expectations and was worth the investment.I would purchase this product again.

My husband hates heavy comforters, quilts and blankets. He has a hard time rolling over if the covers are too heavy and he gets cold very easily.I like to sleep with the room very cold so I feel snuggly under the covers. I had several smaller wool blankets that I love so i splurged and bought a king size for our bed. We both love this blanket. It is warm without being heavy. I like the blue plaid-which compliments our decor nicely. Excellent blanket.

Teníamos otra de lana, también francesa, pero más gruesa para diciembre - enero. La lleve a Valle de Bravo donde las noches son frescas.Esta sirve muy bien para el resto del año. Es pura lana virgen.

I've already purchased the 500GSM king and bought the 400 for my girls at Xmas. Very different. Thin. Not as soft. Different feel completely. Much prefer the higher quality version. The 500 is worth the extra money, you can tell it will last generations.
