GoodBoyDog Remote Collar with Improved & Humane Training Modes and 2700ft Range - for Small and Medium Dogs

I have an 8lb male Shih Tzu that never listens! He is constantly trying to bolt! He tried to with this and all it took was the beep and he came to a halt. He listens when I say his name now. It’s nice to have the ability to recharge. I just leave it on all day (both the collar turned on and him wearing it) and take it off at night for bed. Just what I needed!

The quality of this product is phenomenal! The collar can be made small enough for him and is lightweight and not cumbersome. I have a 4lb, 6 month old Yorky who is a maniac and stubborn and barks! After 1 day with the vibration on 1, he has stopped barking and jumping at me and is so much calmer! I’m shocked at how fast this worked! I’ve been training him until I’m blue in the face for 3 months and this did several months of training in a matter of hours! I would pay twice this amount if I knew it had worked this well! It came in 3 days, too and during the holiday!

This is our third collar. The others had a shock setting that we never used but the prongs were uncomfortable for our little Richard. He wouldn't run and play with the other collars but he actually stands at the door waiting for his collar now and plays like he doesn't even notice it. We only use it outside because he kept wandering off and he chased everything including deer and wouldn't stop! The sound and vibration is all it takes to stop him. Great collar!

This item purchased for a 9-pound Maltipoo. The device on the collar is small and compact.Our Ziki is very aware of animals when they appear on TV. He goes crazy barking at them, and his bark is a shrill bark that puts your teeth on edge. We had tried commands like “Hush” and “Quiet” and also a can of Pet Corrector to let a blast of air out to break his focus. We were not getting anywhere. I put the collar on him with just the sound set at the lowest setting. When he started barking at the TV, I said “Quiet” as I hit the activation button and he stopped, looked down as if to say, “What was that and where did it come from?” He stopped barking, and I used a cheerful voice to tell him he was a good boy. Barking was forgotten. We repeated this a couple of times, and he started ignoring the animals on the TV.Well the real test came when we took him in our RV on a camping trip. He usually grumbles or barks at people walking past our campsite. Again, we got great results with just the sound and the lowest setting and a firm command to Quiet. Toward the end of our 9-day trip, I didn’t even have the collar on him for the last two days because he just watched other people and dogs but stayed quiet.The only reason I rated this collar with 4 stars is because the little rubber stoppers (waterproofing) covering the charging port are somewhat difficult to put back into the port, not wanting to seat properly. In fact, the second day, the one on the remote control fell off, but I was able to replace it. Otherwise, I would have rated the collar 5 stars.

This is my third GoodBoy collar I've purchased and it's by far my favorite. The difficulty I've had with e-collars is that I have a 7lbs Pomeranian so finding a collar that is small enough has been a struggle. My dog doesn't need an electric feature as he responds well with the beep and buzz so this collar not having prongs sticking into him is really nice for both comfort but also not matting his fur. The only real negative thing I can think of is that the width of the collar band is thick if you have a long haired dog so there will be some fur matting. So you have to make sure to take it off and give them a good bushing around the neck. It would be nice if they had a more narrow or rolled collar option.Additionally I would like to point out the vast majority of the negative reviews on this products are about how peoples individual dogs didn't train well in an e-collar not that this product itself failed to deliver. For what it is it's well made, not all dogs train well with an e-collar.

This is exactly what I was looking for in a training collar. My chihuahua is a whopping 5lbs! Tea cup dogs have tiny necks so it was important to find the right fit with the right features. I love that this collar does not have metal prongs! It's VERY adjustable. I still have plenty of room to make it tighter or larger. The remote fits in my hand nicely and comes with a wrist strap. With the options to use sound, vibration or both (as well as adjust the intensity) we have made great strides in training. This collar is only worn for training periods and should NOT be left on. It last a long time in-between charging as long as you turn off remote and collar when not in use. Buy it. You won't regret it!

Collar narrow and adjustable length for neck size. Not bulky and does not appear to be uncomfortable for my smaller sized Boston Terrier. However, my deaf dog has OCD and during barking fits is not at all fazed by the vibration mode, even on highest setting. I can hear the buzzing from across the house and over the barking and still the dog doesn’t react. May work for others but not my dog.

Didn't want a shock collar so got this instead. Used in vibration mode and kept our fingers crossed. Amazing! Dog stopped barking after 2nd vibration. She simply doesn't bark anymore, except in extreme circumstances. Great product.
