If you suffer from chronic pain, or are recovering from surgery or an injury, Ice Water Therapy is the way to go for non narcotic pain relief. The problem is that most machines come with a “universal” pad & these “universal” pads are big bulky and not designed for use on the neck. This cervical pad is what you need for that stubborn pain in the neck. I have an old EB Ice Water Therapy machine (which is no longer made) and no one could tell me if the couplings were compatible, even the manufacturer of this cervical pad. I bought it without knowing if it would work with my machine. I’m happy to report that it is indeed 100% compatible with the EB Ice Water machine.This product has 3 parts, the pad the ice water flows through, a thick foam rubber piece to give it stability and a zippered pouch designed to hold it all together.The pad that the water flows through seems to be a bit on the thin side compared to other pads which leads me to wonder about its durability. I’ve been using this pad for about a month and so far there have been no durability issues at all.The thick foam pad is so thick that it makes it difficult to get it to fit comfortably on my neck. A quick trip to a hobby shop for a thinner piece of foam and it made all the difference in the world.The zipper pouch is perfect for allowing the cold to get to your neck while keeping the actual water pad from touching the skin.I recommend this and would buy again.

We got this post shoulder surgery and it really helps with the pain. It requires someone to help put it on though post surgery and the circulating unit sold separately, uses a lot of ice. I think it will be great to use post PT visits though.

Initially sent a back unit. I contacted the seller and they let me know that Amazon fulfills the order and must have picked the wrong one at the distribution center. They immediately sent me the correct one free of charge and let me keep the back one too. It works awesome, has survived a beating by my patients, wife, and student athletes. I will continue to order from this company when the need arises to replace older units/get different units.

This has worked very well for helping me cope with the pain from shoulder surgery. Once the straps are positioned, it is easy to put on and take off using only my non-dominant hand. Much easier and more effective than the universal pad which came with my icing unit. BEWARE: The connectors will not simply snap/lock into place. They are too narrow to activate the locking mechanism on the hoses. You need to manually push the metal pin on your cold therapy machine's hoses to lock in place. This requires two hands.

I have tried and tried to figure out how to get a better fit, but it just doesn't seem to work. I was using a shoulder wrap from another company (Gameday) and the fit was very easy to make perfect, but the material from this wrap is too rigid and/or the cut is made such that there is no way to get the wrap to lay flat to the skin in all areas and so only part of the shoulder area gets iced. For instance, if I wrap the arm and outside of the shoulder, then the wrap doesn't cover the top of the shoulder and the area near the collar bone. It's ok, but I would rather pay more and get something better.

I bought this attachment to keep my foot cool after having surgery for a broken heel. For the most part, it does a great job, but I was surprised to see that the under-side of your foot gets no cooling action... It's just a solid platform underneath. The ice water does not flow through that part.
