I Am Not Sleepy!: A preschool and toddler book for bedtime and naps (Curly Crew Series)

Based on the reviews, I was excited to order this for my toddler who has been having bedtime tantrums. It's a little odd because the girl in the book is old enough to express complete thoughts, yet the level/complexity of the book seems to be for babies. There isn't really any plot, dialogue, moral, or discussion of emotions. How did the character suddenly go from defiant to compliant?I wanted to support this author, but it's definitely self-published quality, from the illustrations, cropping, and lack of vision. Even at half the price, the only value I see in this book is if you really need an example of someone wearing a bonnet to bed.

We’ve all been there. It’s definitely bedtime and sometimes past bedtime and someone doesn’t want to go to sleep. A sweet story about a little girl who isn’t ready for bedtime and who will do and say anything to avoid just that. Accompanied by beautiful illustrations.

He asked to read it 3 times in a row. I got a kick out of the mama's faces lol

I love this book! The illustrations and writing are just fantastic. I highly recommend this book for anyone who wants something great to read to children.

My seven year old read this book for bedtime. We totally related to the story, the back and forth about each stage of the bedtime routine. I loved mom's expressions. We will surely add this to our bedtime reads. "This is my favorite bedtime book!" the 7 year old😁😴😃😄😃😁😀😊

This book is sooo my 2 year old daughter! She is so hot and cold with emotions and this book seems like a biopic of our lives lol. It is so cute and she loves to read it every night. Plus it's great to see a child of color with her bonnet on at bedtime in a book! Love, love, love!

I bought it for Christmas present for her! She loves books and got so excited and even thought she's 17 months old she says lots of words and repeats a lot of words that are read to her. I plan to buy more books for her.

This is my daughter’s absolute favorite book! She makes me read it thousand times and at a year and half old she gets so excited that she can relate to each page. She even kisses the page when when they do a goodnight kiss. Sweet book ❤️
