Why does Amazon throw beautiful places into a box with ZERO padding, then Chuck it on my doorsteps — the guy literally dead-dropped it. Boo!No re-order for me - a hassle to return cycles of broken dishes due to their negligence in packaging.

The media could not be loaded.  These are sturdy thick plates!They are microwave, oven, dishwasher safe!I like to warm the plate up before serving the food so the food doesn’t get cold by the time I take it to the table and start eating.I like having the option of putting it in the oven or microwave to warm the plate up.It’s large enough to have an entire meal set on it.The plate has a slight lip on the edges which is perfect for any saucier foods or even fried rice to keep it on the plate lol.These are on the slightly heavier side but it’s well made.

Love! the design of this dinner plate/platter. White, swirl that will go with traditional or modern settings. I was concerned about using it in the microwave, but it didn’t get hot or crack. Happy about that since sometimes I have to heat up a dinner that has gone cold.Only small issue is that it’s a bit heavy for me.I’ll probably be using it more as a platter.Shipping box and plate packing was A+. Arrived in excellent condition.

The Portmeirion Sophie Conran Coupe in white was my wedding set many years ago and I was thrilled it see that they were still making this pattern. These plates are perfect for pasta and salad, but also make great serving pieces as well. I like to use them for apps, dips with crackers, sides, and handhelds. The quality and look of these has not changed over the years - these are a perfect match for my original set. I was not in the least bit disappointed and I can say, having had most of these pieces for years now, the quality and style is timeless. I love my dishes just as much as when I originally picked it out.

These Portmeirion Sophie Conran plates are so pretty! They arrived very well packed and undamaged. These are nice sturdy porcelain plates, and I love the minimalist design and unusual fluid edge. These will match or coordinate with any of the Sophie Conran Portmeirion dishes that you may already have, or they are a pretty addition to any white dishes if you want to use them as serving or accent plates. They are heavy and incredible quality. Dressy enough for holidays, sturdy enough for every day, microwave and dishwasher safe. They can apparently also go from table to oven and even into the freezer, which makes them quite flexible for use as serving pieces, especially if you're having guests and want everything ready to go. Really glad to add these to my collection of pretty dishes!

So these are very nice porcelain plates. They are heavy and look lovely. But from the ad, I thought I was also getting 4 salad and 4 pasta plates as it shows in the picture. Dont' get me wrong, I like the plates, but for the price, I expected 12, not four items. They will make lovely serving plates, none the less.

The plates, when in one piece, are great, hence the reason we ordered them. Amazon's packing process is very poor however, with a thin piece of brown paper - not corrugated card - between each plate, and not in original Sophie Conran pack. Result, all plates smashed too pieces.
