Expensive, but seems to help my anxious 1.5yo lab mix (update: still true, months later)
I have a 1.5yo 60-lb. lab mix who is an anxious girl. She is very sensitive to noises in the neighborhood, and has some reactivity issues with unfamiliar people and other dogs on leashes (OTOH, she's fine in daycare, FWIW). When she's out in the yard, she can get into barking spells and can kind of wind herself up with the stress. It's subtle, but this seems to be helping. I think I have a much happier dog now. I don't think she barks as much when out in the yard as she did, I don't think she's as likely to spin herself up into an unconsolable frenzy, and she's not as reactive to dogs and people when we're out walking. One of the behavior changes is that this girl likes to be up on her two hind legs. She used to jump up to me in sort of a hug when she was stressed while walking in an unfamiliar place and she wanted to go home. Now instead, she does that when she's happy. We arrive at daycare: Yippee! Mom, I get to play with the dogs! I pick her up from daycare: Yippee! Mom, I missed you!We just started our second box of this, so this change took place across the six weeks recommended to wait to see changes. Being a bit of a scientist, I'm aware that my dog is also transitioning into her adult self, and it's possible that that plays a role in all this... but that's a relatively short time span to see that kind of change, so I credit the product.Right, and also it tastes good, like liver (ask me how I know!), which is important for my dog, who can be a picky eater. This is in contrast to solliquin, also recommended by my vet, which I couldn't get her to eat. She first spit out the full tablets, and when I tried to quarter it to hide it in her food, she rejected the food. The Solliquin tastes bitter (ask me how I know!), so I get it.Update 12/3/22: It's December now, and my girl is 2yo. I have also put her on the Purina Pro Plan Calm & Balanced Adult food, which also seems to help. FWIW, I called Purina to ask if this made sense or was a bad idea, and the two products work via different mechanisms, and they had no reservations about my using them both. I think the food helps, too, and it's not super expensive, so why not? I do feel like I have a different dog now. It's not that she's never reactive, but she's so much less so. As an example, I used to dread letting her out in the mornings (and she often gets up at 5am) because she would find something that stressed her out and would start barking at it. This was probably a squirrel or maybe a cat. But she seldom does that any longer, and I'm no longer cringing and crossing my fingers when I let her out first thing in the morning. I tried a little experiment and skipped this for a couple of days and she seemed to find things to get concerned about, but that would need to be repeated a few times before I'd know it wasn't just coincidence, so for now I'm just noting it as a curiosity.I'm very grateful to Purina for developing these products.

I love this stuff
This is really good value for the amount you get. I have 3 dogs i use it with. I have a 6 month old pup thats full of nervous energy that was causeing her to bark high piched n scream. No there nothing wrong with her n ive known her since 4 weeks old. It works to help calm her down to a managable level. My 6yr old ESA has issues steming from his last home. They dumped him as they were moving and even tho weve never left him he still gets nervey when we move n this helps. We are watching a 7 month old pup who hates crating but we have no choice and this immediatly helped calm her so shes no longer whining most of the night. The 2 pups will for the forseeable future be on calming care. My ESA a couple weeks after the move will no longer need it. So for 3 boxes considering that im using it for 3 dogs is a really good value. This works really well.

Great for my dogs
My Aussie had behavioral issues, anxiety, and gastro issues for 6 years. I got into the vetmed field and got him on anxiety meds in conjunction with the calming powder and he’s a whole new dog. I recently started my 3 year old and 1 year old doggos on it and hoping it helps calm them slightly. This powder supplement takes a month of constant use to show effect. I’ve had clients give up on it and say it’s useless but it’s a great product is used consistently and you have the understanding it takes 1 month+ to show effect. My Aussie hasn’t had stomach issues so I do believe it helps calm him internally and mentally lol. Worth it for the pack of three since I have 3 dogs

I Think it's Working....
I have three dogs and the smallest has major social anxiety. I've gone through one box of this so far and he appears to be calmer than before, but I wouldn't call it a miracle product. Poops seem good, so the probiotic aspect is effective. I will continue to use and will most likely reorder. In comparison to the regular probiotics I give the price is good, so I recommend. Since my pups are all under 14 lbs, I sprinkle one packet between two dogs (as a one size fits all product, I would assume this is okay.) Definitely zero negatives at this point.

Worth every dollar!
These are a lifesaver for my chocolate lab with extreme anxiety. Without this he paces and pants, barks, steals things, destroys stuff when he gets anxious, won’t let anyone give him any attention, hides in the bathtub and try’s to dig the drains out. With them he’s a totally different dog. Calm, loving, likes to play outside, well mannered. I thought maybe at 7 he was finally over the anxiety after taking this for awhile…. Until it ran out and he went right back to how he was before. This stuff really works and I recommend it to everyone who has a dog with behavioral issues. It’s worth every dollar to me.

Great Product
I've been using this with my dog for about 6 months and I do see a difference in her demeanor. I tried before with one of my dogs but did not give it to her long enough to really see a difference. I have reordered numerous times.

Seems to help
We rescued a 14 month old German Shepherd almost a year and a half ago from a breeder. Sadly he was not socialized and displays high strung anxiety when he sees people, other dogs, rides in the car, etc. We are working with a certified behavior consultant weekly. She suggested this product. I believe there was a slight change in him after only a couple (1-2) weeks, although the product states that it takes 6 weeks. As we and the trainer believe that he is still decompressing, therefore improving we will continue using this. He still has a great deal of anxiety, he’s not “cured”, but he is a little better.
