I used to make tiny birds for my glass art. I closed up the mold dumped the glass slurry in, vibrated it and dumped more. Once it was frozen over night I put it in the kiln along with my other chocolate molds using the same schedule. The ends of the birds log didn't come out to great but I cut them off and then sliced up the log to the thickness I needed as I need it. It's a great way to get the thickness you want and you can cut them as needed so you don't have tiny birds hanging around.

I wanted to make a St. Louis themed soap so I thought this would be perfect. I mean it worked great and created a perfect red bird to fly under the Arch.

This was just perfect! I made this soap for a friend using it.
